In 2011, hotel and restaurant industry professionals Andrea and David decided to make a go of it on their own. Their idea was simple; partner with equally passionate local producers to showcase the best of the Thompson region in a fun, creative setting. Four years later, Chef David’s award winning cuisine along with a stellar line up of wines, beers and delectable cocktails have made Terra a local favorite. So there’s no asparagus in November, no pumpkins in May and certainly no fava beans in January. What you do get though, is an inspired, creative team excited to work with local farmers, ranchers and artisans who provide us with exceptional products.

This was the third time ordering the chef’s menu with a group of friends from work. It has been fabulous every time and always different. We will definitely return.

We have attended twice in the past month and both menu offerings were absolutely stellar. We got the pork belly wraps and the Under the Sea appetizers - what a delight!!!! Both were delicious and large portions. I had the lamb and my husband had the catch - wow. Davis and team is delivering some of the best food ever. We are never disappointed but we feel like the past two dates have been exceptional. Their chocolate desserts are always a tasty end to a perfect meal. Thanks for putting so much love into your food!!!

This is arguably the best restaurant in Kamloops. If you are looking for a special meal, see if they have time and staff to offer you the Chef's Table with wine pairings! You won't be disappointed.

We had a very enjoyable evening. The food was excellent and the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because my husband’s dinner was not hot. Also, the service was very good, but we had a long wait for our food. We’re looking forward to visiting Terra in the future in their new location.
