    Outstanding!! If you are looking for a relaxed fine dining experience with old world ambience, then Gibby's is the place to go. Beginning with the bread and dill pickles through 5 courses each dish was delicious and the presentation outstanding. The only thing that topped the excellent food was the service. Priced as you might expect from this level of service and culinary excellence it was a nice treat for our trip to Montreal. We will make it a stop each time we return to the city.

    Been many times over the years and the food and atmosphere is great. This time our table was next to two large groups and it was quite noisy and difficult to have conversation with our table of 6. Additionally, the waiter had to keep rubbing back of my chair to squeeze through to service other tables. At Gibby's they always take a picture of the table and give you a print nicely presented. However, they have switched from a digital print to an instant camera and the picture was dark and not worth keeping. We were told by a staff member that new admin switched the format and it has not been performing well. This visit was for two birthdays and unfortunately the photo was not good and barely can make out who is in the picture. Not really a big deal since we were there for a lovely dinner but for the money spent they should go back to what works. Nice gesture on their part. And we will surely go back.

    It was our first time and we had a great time! We gathered with friends to celebrate a 40th birthday and our waitress was very attentive to details! Amazing experience

    Really enjoyed the food and service at Gibby's. The steaks were delicious and salad was included along with sides. If you are visiting Montreal,then this restaurant needs to be on your list to visit.

    Our server Reynard was fantastic. Attentive and engaging. Food was incredible. The Monte Carlo potato paired with the ribeye was perfect.

    Nous sommes des habitués depuis plus de 30. Depuis le changement de propriétaire, certains changements diminuent l’expérience Gibby’s. Au lieu d’épinards dans la salade, une laitue moins goûteuse, les steaks au poivre étaient tirailleux. On s’attend à mieux. Les services étaient excellents par contre. Malheureusement, nous y allons de moins en moins.
