The ambiance and service was very good . The drinks and salads were fine. The main courses were very salty, way to spicey, with no emphasis on the entree itself. This was our 3rd time at the restaurant as we we are locals and enjoy dining out. I would not recommend the restaurant to anyone visiting .

This was our third time at this restaurant and past experiences were very good. Unfortunately, this experience was not good due to poor service from our hostess. We arrived on time and were told by the hostess, Sierra, that it would be a few minutes while they cleared a table. While seated in the waiting area another party already there struck up a nice conversation with us. They mentioned that they had not made a reservation but were told by Sierra upon arrival that she would “work them in.” At first, we felt fortunate to have thought ahead to make a reservation a month in advance. After waiting 20 minutes Sierra appeared and told this walk-in party that a table was ready. We assumed that there was also a table ready for us and that Sierra would return momentarily. To our dismay, she did not. After waiting another 15 minutes I asked here why our seating was now delayed by over a half hour while a party without a reservation was seated ahead of us. Her answer was that they had a reservation. When I explained that we had spoken with them and knew they were walk-ins she said they had made a reservation earlier today! The host was very cold and unfriendly. Never once did she apologize for our delayed seating and her disingenuous answer about the other party having a reservation was frustrating, to say the least. Most fine restaurants would have a more engaging hostess and, for a significantly delayed seating, often provide a complimentary dessert or the like. Here, nothing, leaving a bad taste in our mouths and doubts about returning to this special place we had previously come to love.

Cozy, intimate atmosphere with piano. Honey biscuits were on point. Skip the deviled crab cakes (pedestrian), but the halibut and short rib were exceptional.

Our experience at this restaurant was wonderful. We have eaten here numerous times before and each time the staff delivers an exceptional experience. I love the fact that there is a pianist playing. This restaurant has figured out the formula for a wonderful experience and it is puzzling why so many other restaurants can’t seem to do the same.

Overall excellent! We were greeted and seated at our reservation time. Our server was polite and professional. The food was nicely presented...nice timing between the appetizer and main course. Our dinners were well prepared with the steak cooked as requested. We will go again!
