   Was disappointed with where we were seated. We made reservations for 8:15 for our intimate Valentines Day dinner and arrived on time. We were seated in bar area with constant traffic of customers going to the main dining area. I had asked to be seated in main dining area but we were told this was only available table. I made it clear that we weren’t pleased with this table. We were told by the hostess we could wait for availability but no idea how long? What’s the point of making a reservation then? Food and service was very good but seating put a damper on the experience.

   We had the most wonderful Galentine’s Day Dinner at 1808! From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere set the perfect tone for a night of laughter, great conversation, and celebration. The service was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive, with our server ensuring that every detail of our experience was just right. The food was absolutely delicious—each dish thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. From the appetizers to the entrées, every bite was full of flavor, showcasing fresh, high-quality ingredients. And of course, no Galentine’s Day would be complete without wine, and 1808 did not disappoint! Their wine selection was excellent, perfectly complementing our meal and adding to the festive feel of the evening. We’re so lucky to have such an amazing restaurant in downtown Delaware—1808 truly makes every occasion feel special. Whether it’s a casual dinner or a celebration, it’s always a fantastic choice. Can’t wait to go back! 🍷✨

   The fiancé and I have been huge Sunday brunch fans at 1808 so we go whenever we get the chance. This last time our waitress asked if we had been to a dinner service, which we had not. She recommended we try it out and mentioned their limited menu Valentines week event. After grabbing a late reservation on the Friday night for our anniversary, we quickly realized we were missing out on the dinner service this entire time. Food was unbelievable and the cocktails were excellent as always. Service is always friendly and punctual. All in all we have nothing negative to say. Love this spot!!

   We ate at 1808 for Valentines Day and the fixed menu was delicious. Great options to choose from. Fantastic restaurant.

   My wife and I dined at 1808 and we both agree that the food was some of the best we’ve had in central Ohio. If in Columbus, it’s a short 30 minute drive and definitely worth the trek. My wife and I both got the ribeye with the bacon balsamic and Diane sauces. Both were cooked to perfection and the meat was tender and delicious. Besides the steak we got the cauliflower appetizer, and sides that included cream spinach, cauliflower au gratin, mashed potatoes, and Brussels sprouts. Everything was top tier and the drinks were incredible as well. Great service and great food in a quiet atmosphere. We will definitely be going back to explore more of the menu.

   Their steak menu is great for sure. They give you a bunch of options and the sauce choices were worth it. I got the Mac n cheese because it sounded good but it was bland and anticlimactic. Grocery store is way better. Good place for date night for sure. :)

   A steak was not cooked properly as ordered. It was taken back to be replaced. But later we found out the order was cancelled and one of our party left without eating.

   We dine here on special occasions. It’s the nicest restaurant in Delaware Ohio. The food and service were excellent as always.

    Our waiter, Noah, was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. We had a filet and ribeye with Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes. Very good.
