   I live in Delaware and invited a couple of my friends to brunch. I thought we would try 1808 since I have been to this establishment before for dinner and thought the food was really fabulous. We all ordered something different, sausage and gravy for me, country fried steak, and the omlent meal respectively. The food arrived lukewarm for all three meals and the country fried steak was fried so long that it was hard. You did not have the option to order extra sides for example bacon or an egg it was suggested that we order an entire meal. I was very disappointed and I'm sorry to say will not be back. For the price you should do better.

   We love 1808. It's our go-to for delicious cocktails, dinner, and brunch. Matt, the GM, always greets us (does he live there??) and all the staff are friendly and knowledgeable and provide excellent service. We're so lucky to have this gem in downtown Delaware. If you're there for dinner, get the beignets for dessert!

   Absolutely wonderful service ! Food is amazing !!! Atmosphere is great ! What a cute restaurant This was probably our 5th time at 1808 and they are consistent with the wonderful food and service !! Highly recommend

   Broad menu option. Service and ambiance above average. Food quality, unfortunately, fell below expectations considering the hype and price.

   Eating out at 1808 restaurant is always a good experience. New menu, great apps. Great drinks. Sometimes it's too expensive for some people, but I enjoy it.also come on Wednesday to hear live music always a good time.

   This place had a good ambiance and the staff was very nice, helpful and attentive. We had a big group of people and they were very accommodating. The only thing I wasn’t super impressed with was the food. The food was good, but to me it just was not worth the amount of money we spent. Was looking forward to an upscale meal, something to splurge on for my birthday but was a bit let down. I got the mashed potato balls as an appetizer and the salmon for my meal. The mashed potatoes just weren’t very flavorful and the salmon seasoning was lack luster. There were a few other things with the food my family got, just that the soup was not hot, kind of more room temperature. The walleye was pretty bland by itself, the sweet potato puree served with it was good though. I will say the people in my group that got the burger really enjoyed it.

   Our reserved table was ready on time and William quickly waited on us. We enjoyed apps and drinks before dinner. Service was great all night! Salads were good but Salmon and chicken entrees all came out cold. We skipped dessert but still had a great time.

   Anyone looking for a casual but fine dining experience in Delaware, Ohio, look no further than 1808. The selection of food and alcohol, combined with a wonderful atmosphere and service experience, make 1808 a great spot to have a wonderful dinner experience with friends and/or family. My wife and I enjoyed a lovely New Year’s Eve dinner with incredible appetizers and perfectly cooked steaks as the main course. I highly recommend the ribeye!

    My husband, Tom, and I had a wonderful experience at 1808 on New Year's Eve. This is our third year to have dinner at 1808 on New Year's Eve. I requested a table near a window and we were pleased to have that available for our party of 4. Our server, Noah, was outstanding. He is personable, helpful, friendly, and dedicated to the spirit of 1808 to make sure every guest has a memorable time. We'll be back soon.
