Food all seemed old and reheated. Chicken65 appetizer was grizzly, covered in wet not crispy breading and drowning in extremely salty sauce, clearly not freshly made or worth the $16 price. The Tandoori Chicken was the worst I’ve ever had of this classic dish. It seemed like it was left over from a week ago and microwaved. It was not fresh, not what I expect from what was advertised as “Indian Fine Dining.” Indian takeout is fresher. Perhaps the worst part was they ignored the OpenTable instructions provided that it was an anniversary dinner and did not wish us a happy anniversary. I will not return.

Loved this place for years. From the brunches on the weekends to the weekday dinner deliveries. Darbar has been a staple for 15+ yrs.

On a rainy winter evening, 2 Darbar Grill made the evening bright. As an audio-challenged diner, it was an environment that made having/hearing a conversation possible; a 5 star experience for me. The cocktail menu offered a nice variety of cocktails and mocktails. The mango lassi was the best choice with my meal. The restaurant had a lovely 4 course prix fixe menu for 2025 NYC Restaurant Week. The choices were varied, and the presentation and taste were delicious. The staff was attentive, courteous, and handsome. ❤️ Thank you 2 Danbar Grill for a perfect culinary experience!

This is my favorite Indian restaurant in New York. Staff is amazing, food is the best and location makes it easy to get to. Highly recommended!

Went here on Christmas Eve for dinner. Get the Bhajia appetizer, it was warm and fresh. Their house specialty of Beetroot Malai Kofta comes in a DELICIOUS sauce . And although it's an unusual dish you can dip the Rosemary Naan in the sauce . The Karma cocktail is ok but I might just get a glass of wine if I come back . They brought papadum and 1 dessert on the house . Good value . Staff are nice . Relaxing place on a quiet street .

I made reservations for my gfs birthday recently the food was great, restaurant wasn’t crowed or noise and everyone from our group loved the food however the drinks were a tad bit water down, we didn’t get a warm welcome and we had to seat ourselves. I dislike the force tip on top of that the spike in sales tax other then that everything else was ok .
