I visited to celebrate my birthday, and both the food and service exceeded my expectations - everything was absolutely top-notch. In particular, senior manager David was extremely kind and accommodating. He even prepared a candlelit dessert as a special birthday treat. It was truly a flawless, first-class experience - one of the best I've had in a long time.

It was one of those last minute reservations for a bday and I'm shocked this establishment is not busy at all hours of the day. From the moment we walked in for a a Tuesday lunch, our party of 3 was treated with amazing service. I can't remember our servers name but she was awesome for being new. The ambiance gives that old school fancy vibe and it really sets the mood for the food. We went with a whole spread of menu items for everyone to share and of course went with the dry aged steaks. We got one rare and one medium rare. The drinks were nice and strong and not one complaint for any dish ordered. I will most definitely be back for future celebrations and dining experiences.

If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience, look no further than 555 East! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the perfect stage for a fantastic meal. We kicked things off with the **Jumbo Lump Crab Cake**, which has become a staple favorite of mine. This house-made delight is flaky, sizzling, and packed with crab—no fillers here! It pairs beautifully with the **Crispy Fried Calamari**, served with both tartar and cocktail sauce. Trust me; your table will want to share these mouthwatering appetizers! Next up was the standout dish of the evening: **Spanish Octopus a la plancha**. Cooked to perfection and accompanied by sautéed sweet peppers, garlic, and herbs, this dish truly deserves its title as “the star of the sea." It’s bursting with flavor and absolutely captivating! For something refreshing, we couldn’t resist trying the **Tomato & Burrata salad** drizzled with basil oil and balsamic glaze. It’s beautifully deconstructed and simply delicious—a perfect palate cleanser before diving into our mains. As for sides, we opted for **Roasted Butternut Squash** and **Sautéed Spinach** with garlic. Both were vibrant in color and packed full of nutrients—definitely a great addition to our meal! Now onto the pièce de résistance: the 8oz filet cooked medium rare. It practically melted in my mouth! And don’t miss out on sharing their generously portioned baked potato—it’s definitely large enough for two! The service provided by Daniel and Efren was impeccable; they anticipated our every need throughout this enchanting evening. Their attentiveness made us feel right at home. Overall, I can't recommend 555 East highly enough! Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just enjoying a night out, this place delivers an extraordinary culinary experience that you won’t soon forget. Thumbs up all around! 👍🍽️

One year ago, we had a Great meal celebrating our Anniversary here, however, this year not so good! My wife's filet was a dome shaped end cut, that was hard to cut and eat, and her lobster tail was way overcooked. She left several inedible chewey pieces of steak on her plate, plus did not even finish eating it, which the waiter could not help but see when he cleared her plate. No comment from the waiter. Plus, we had booked our reservation a couple weeks earlier to request a specific table, and even called in 3 days before to confirm that table. When we arrived, they said we couldn't have that table because someone had requested it 30 min. before us, very puzzling. And to top it off, the apple tart was blackened from being overcooked. Such a disappointing Anniversary evening!!

Wife and I visited 555 for a special occasion after years of seeing an online consensus that this is THE place for steak in the LB area. We took an early seating, 4PM. The Open Table process was flawless, and we were given a choice of a couple of tables (rare, that).Parking is awful, so we gave in to the valet experience ($8 plus whatever you tip...not exorbitant). The place is great looking, with a bit of a classic vibe to it. Our server, Daniel, was professional and did a top-notch job of describing what they had on offer. I chose the grass-fed ribeye. Daniel took care to explain that this was a leaner, gamier cut than the typical; fine by me. Wife chose the Chilean sea bass. She chose the El Diablo cocktail, I opted for the Newcastle ale. She wanted to try the sautéed mushrooms to split. Wife was delighted with the bass and loved her cocktail. I was underwhelmed by the ribeye; while a lean steak sacrifices buttery richness, I expected more robust flavor from the grass feed. The steak, while expertly cooked to medium rare, was a little over crusted for me; the cappella style option was tasty, though. I was also sorry that 555 does not have a more extensive beer list. This is rather odd given that they have a decent handful of local breweries at hand and could build a unique offering (Newcastle and 805 were their solid, stolid best offerings). Their wine list is similarly uninspired. I'm glad we got around to eating here. But the simple fact is that, for ¼ grand outlay, I would not go back unless Wife really craves a redo on that sea bass.

Top notch service (our server was Tony (Anthony). Great food recommendations. We had the dry age ribeye and Chilean sea bass a few sides and butter cake. Overall wonderful and we will be coming back.
