If you’re looking for an old fashioned, dark tavern style eatery with a big tv with the game on, this may be your spot. Went for Thanksgiving. Food was good, but crazy overpriced even by NYC standards! $115 + mandatory 20% tip + tax and beverages for a Salad OR Soup, a main course + a dessert sampler plate. Place is NOT fancy. Gruff Boston owner does Not make you feel particularly welcome or cared for. After waiting by the door, we were told to “grab a table” by the window. Charming Beacon Hill neighborhood.

Excellent service and delicious food made our Thanksgiving dinner one to remember. Would definitely visit again.

Fantastic food, fantastic service. From when we were so warmly welcomed into the restaurant until we left (not able to eat another single thing!), everything was next level. I am grateful that 75 Chestnut was open, keeping in mind that the staff weren’t able to spend (as much) time with their own loved ones as they were taking care of us.

Took my team members out to dinner last night. They came in from all over EU and loved it. Lobster pasta was a hit.

Worst meal I’ve ever had at 75. Drink was okay… crab cakes were awful, could barely eat them. Bread was burnt -I wish I hadn’t bothered. Pasta was good and the only reason I give 3 stars. Staff could care less when I mentioned this. Maybe the chef was sick….?!

, I really love the location, the quaintness, coziness and over ambience of the space. The manager that worked the front of the house on Saturday night was very friendly and accommodating… Food does come out pretty quickly so it’s best to Space your appetizers.. Our waiter ( male) was attentive, kind, friendly and worked hard to please all of us. Our meals were delicious.. Couldn’t had few more steak it came with only four tips but with the salad appetizer I had before it ended up being enough. Great place to have a small group, a celebration or a romantic dinner! Over all its a great place.. Will be going back in a few weeks!
