Until this event, 801 Fish was my favorite restaurant. I was quite disappointed on Saturday evening. I had bragged to my friends about 801 Fish. Then, the drink order wasn't right--a Mojito ordered with mint--was served without even thought the diner had specifically noted that the drink should have actual mint in it. Granted, a runner was sent across the street to get some mint and the drink was redone. My whole fish was overcooked and served in a way that made it difficult to eat--even though I think someone thought it would be easier than fhe full fish laid out on the plate. The diner who ordered beef said the flalvor was lacking. The oysters (raw) were excellent.

Super friendly staff, especially our server "Bear L". Our first time back in about 2 yrs but we'll return sooner!

good martini/old fashioned. Crab gratin is wonderful. My salmon was fresh and properly cooked and my wife's scallops were great

Good evening. This was my 35th wedding anniversary. My wife and I very much enjoyed our experience at 801 fish house. Small touches made the dining experience amazing. First was the menu with 35th anniversary on it. We kept it and took it home. Our server Jacob was by far great. Offered and explained all the specials, with ingredients, and if we had allergens and substitutions, and appetizer. He had an answer for all our questions. So to you, sir, I say thank you. Made the experience special. Made us an 801 prime member as well. The young lady that checked on us several times through our meal, thank you. She worked at the hostess stand with black pants suit on. We will be back.

Nice people and good service but my food was pretty disappointing. $55 for lobster risotto that wasn’t cooked properly and it was seasoned pretty blandly. Risotto is supposed to be creamy and smooth. This wasn’t. Then the dessert we ordered—some sort of frozen hazelnut and chocolate thing was really hard to eat and lacking in flavor. I don’t mind spending a lot for a really good meal, but this food was expensive and really mediocre. On the positive side the crab cake appetizer was pretty good.
