   I ordered a medium Filet and it came out well done my daughter ordered a medium Filet and it was rare. Not good for the price I paid

   Christina was our server and she made the evening more fun. This restaurant is in close proximity to the bar and is noisy. My scallops were wonderful, but my wife's filet although cooked medium, was only warm and dry because I believe it sat too long. Not a drop of juice on her plate start to finish. We were presented with an anniversary card (45) and free desert. Overall, a nice evening.

   Isabella, Chef Peter and the whole team gave our party of 6 excellent service, delicious food and an outstanding overall experience. This added to our overall Casa Monica experience as we were also staying at the hotel. Thank you!

   They seemed to have issues in the kitchen. We did the 4 course brunch. It took 40 minutes to get the first course, and 1.5 hours for the entire meal. There were only a handful of people in the restaurant. Portions were small but tasty. It seems there was some kind of issue in the kitchen. The server was apologetic throughout the the meal. It isn't a $100 brunch for two I'll do again.

   Our reservation was at 5:45, we arrived at 5:30. We were made to wait 15 minutes, even though there were many empty tables. My husband ordered the She Crab Soup, we both ordered salads, and two entrees. My husband had taken two sips of his soup, and the salads arrived. NO. Salad should be brought out when he is finished with the soup. My salad had no tomatoes at all, even though the menu said there were tomatoes in it. If the saffron cauliflower could be substituted for the rainbow chard with my scallops. What I got was a few pieces of raw cauliflower. I ordered a Brandy zIce as an after dinner drink. I was served a glass with ice cubes and brandy. I told the server this is not a brandy ice; it's an ice cream drink. She said the bar doesn't have a blender !!! What kind of bar doesn't have a blender??? One mistake after another. Terrible experience. And $48 for 3 scallops? Really? Way overpriced. This restaurant has become too complacent, relying on captive hotel guests. Won't eat here again.

   This restaurant is beautiful. We understand they recently redecorated and it looks like a Moroccan scene with arched entryways and middle eastern style. A piano player fills the place with all types of music which is one reason you know you’re not in Algiers. The other is the fantastic menu items which were strongly American. We had a prime filet that was very tender and tasty and a two inch thick grouper that matched. The waitress had been there for four years and was able to cover her stations with easy. Always available and cheerful. This was a special occasion (birthday) and we were served a complimentary dessert. Wow! What a spectacular event for us!

    Valet available , but music was too loud , took 2 hours to finish a 4 course dinner which is excessive by any standard. Food presentation was good though and food quality adequate.
