Met two friends for dinner. I am newly gluten AND egg free. They handled it with ease. Even brought out gluten free bread that was delicious. They were able to accommodate my food sensitivities in all 4 courses of their tasting menu without much interruption or back and forth. Our server was great, our waters never went below the halfway full mark. They did not rush us. We all loved it. I love Acero and The Crossing!

We made our 3rd visit here, maybe 4th? and were delighted once more. They duly noted my wife's birthday and got a prime table in rear section, more quiet and private than the front. A 5pm reserv made it simpler, I guess, to score a sweet location. The menu is not the ordinary and not something we can make at home or see on other menus. Flavors were outstanding and service, as a team effort, was tops. Professional, knowledgeable, and smooth. Dishes were so tasty and not salty, which is a sensitive issue for me. Desserts were so good to top off the night. Tasting menu was our choice tonight. The location and ambiance are special, IMO, kind of city + suburban mix. The last bit of attention was their immediate phone call to say I forgot my umbrella. Thanks for the good work and smiles.

Two issues; First, Acero’s prices have gotten a little out of hand. $40 for a plate of pasta?? Really?!? Second , I felt the service was overly attentive, if that’s possible. Several times during our meal various staff members asked if they might remove our wine/cocktail glasses when we hadn’t finished our drinks. All night, I felt rushed by the staff, like they couldn’t wait to get rid of us and turn the table. It’ll be a while before returning
