Pricey, they will only replenish the finger sandwich’s. I think $50 is a fair price for what they offer not $65 for one person… It is a neat experience.

Everything about the experience was wonderful. However, our waitress was unbelievable. She’s been there for 24 years and makes you feel like you’re the most important customer - ever. Hiwatt (sp) is her name, and she deserves all the accolades. Well done all the way around.

Tea in the atrium of this hotel was lovely. Good variety of tea choices , maybe 15-20 and vegetarian food options too. We liked the berry dessert and caprese sandwich especially. Server was friendly and attentive. Wonderful piano music. The pianist even allowed a younger patron to make a request and sing along. Valet parking $15 when stamped. Enjoyable afternoon.

Very disappointed, This was the third time I booked for a large group of 12+ women over 60. The last two times we were seated in the two low to the ground couches (that really could allow 3 comfortably and 4 chairs with backs). It’s not great and was very uncomfortable. This is where we were seated again. I had come to the hotel early to check. I asked the tea hostess since there was an empty table for ten could we please add two chairs to each end and it would be more comfortable. She refused. When everyone showed up we just could not squeeze everyone around the area and my friends were starting to complain and said they rather go back to the hotel to eat. The server, seeing this, said we could divide up and sit at a table of two and another of four and the rest of us could remain on the couches and chairs. This was not the point to split up the group, as we get together once a year and like to reconnect. As the coordinator of this event, I got so much flack because the large group of 7 could only order 3 tea choices. Every tea room I have been in I have always ordered my own tea and had my own pot. The food and service was fine but when the bill came I was told we could only use one credit card which meant everyone had to get cash to pay me. We will be back in Denver in February 2027 and will not be booking the Brown Palace for tea. We had been to other venues over four days and not one had an issue with separate checks or splitting the check and paying with individual credit cards. Very heartbreaking and so very disappointing.
