   We visited for Mothers day so there was a set menu which had lots of choice, good portion sizes and food of a good standard. Live music started part way through the meal which was a surprise but a nice addition, overall we had a good visit and would come again.

   Great service, lovely staff who were very accommodating. Food came quickly but quality was lower than previous visits. Regardless, lovely drinks selection and overall great dining experience.

   Enjoyed the food and waiter service was good with regards to taking drinks and food orders. Our group of 7 had a booking for 7.30. Ordered starters and mains at 8 pm latest. At 9 we were told there were 2 orders to be fulfilled before our own. Food came close to 9.30pm. Whilst the food was very nice and we were offered a round of drinks by way of apology, it felt very late to be eating our main courses . That’s why I’ve given 2 for service . We’ve been to Albert’s Didsbury on many occasions and this has not happened before. The surroundings and vibe of the restaurant were as good as usual.

   Our food took too long to arrive, but when we asked where it was it turned up in a matter of minutes. It seemed to have been under the heat lamps a while. The swordfish was worst affected -far too dry. Our waiter was irritating. To be fair the manager discounted the swordfish 50%, but it was a bit late by then. At least it was pretty inexpensive by the time we'd had the service charge removed.

   Our second visit after coming for Sunday lunch a few months ago when the food and service were fantastic. We booked again for a birthday and early Mother’s Day Sunday lunch. We were sat at our table for 20 minutes before we managed to get someone to take our order. We waited another 30 minutes for our food which was delicious. The staff were very pleasant and the restaurant didn’t seem overly busy while we were there, but no apology for the delays. We were asked if we’d like to see the dessert menu, yes please, but waited so long for someone to take out order that we gave up and asked for the bill which came quite promptly. If this had been our first visit we wouldn’t have been in a rush to return. Disappointed.

   Food delicious as always. Staff helpful and friendly. Very noisy which was fine but don’t think the singer was necessary. Enough ambience without the singer. Made the restaurant even noisier so that’s when we left . Good value for money!

    Stated was not happy with the beef meal and nobody acknowledged it then said they will discuss with the manager but ended up paying as we were waiting for a while an nobody came to discuss anything or ask how the experience was. Not good customer service or experience
