   Celebrating a significant birthday with my sister’s, the food was delicious, service excellent and we had a lovely time. Think the heating could be turned down a little but it didn’t ruin anything for us!

   The whole experience was 100% . We went on a Sunday and had the roast which was delicious and then we had desserts which were also delicious. The service was amazing. Would highly recommend.

   Both myself and my boyfriend had a Sunday roast. I had beef, he had lamb. It was delicious! The service was excellent, we were welcomed by a friendly face and our server was very knowledgeable and courteous. I had been previously and had a very positive experience so was keen to visit again. My boyfriend said this had been the best roast he has had in Manchester, where he has resided for 8 years. We will definitely come again and recommend to friends! We have already booked to eat at the city centre location in a few weeks time.

   We all chose to order from the Lunch Menu (2 course £14.95 - 3 courses £18.95). The choice for each course was really good. We had Spring Rolls, Soup & the Terrine for starters. Mains - Fish & Chips & Steak Frites. Desserts - Chocolate brownie & White Chocolate & Pistachio profiterole. The portions were a perfect size & really tasty. Service was excellent. The waiting staff were really attentive and friendly. The only issue we had was when they tried to seat the 4 of us at a table set for 3 (and would only accommodate 3 comfortably). I asked for a larger table & there was no issue making the change.

   We visited for Mothers day so there was a set menu which had lots of choice, good portion sizes and food of a good standard. Live music started part way through the meal which was a surprise but a nice addition, overall we had a good visit and would come again.

   Great service, lovely staff who were very accommodating. Food came quickly but quality was lower than previous visits. Regardless, lovely drinks selection and overall great dining experience.

    Enjoyed the food and waiter service was good with regards to taking drinks and food orders. Our group of 7 had a booking for 7.30. Ordered starters and mains at 8 pm latest. At 9 we were told there were 2 orders to be fulfilled before our own. Food came close to 9.30pm. Whilst the food was very nice and we were offered a round of drinks by way of apology, it felt very late to be eating our main courses . That’s why I’ve given 2 for service . We’ve been to Albert’s Didsbury on many occasions and this has not happened before. The surroundings and vibe of the restaurant were as good as usual.
