    I came here two weeks ago with my wife, my 4 year old and my new born baby. From the moment we stepped in, we felt a wonderful warm energy which was extended by the smiles and accommodation of the staff. As someone who enjoys Indian food a lot, I have to say this is my new favourite Indian restaurant and my favourite Indian food. You could taste the love and care in every bite. We enjoyed it so much that last night I invited my parents there as well and we stayed the whole evening to enjoy the food and energy of this place. 5 stars all around. I will definitely be recommending this place and coming back many times. Many blessings to the staff and management.

    Overall, we liked our lunch at Ambiyan. The food was outstanding, although we felt the service was lacking attention. During our meal the servers decided to sweep the floor which I thought was not appropriate. The main course does not include rice or naan, which needs to be ordered separately. The amount of rice is really enough for one person and not 2, as we were told by our server. So we ended up ordering more because we had butter chicken left and nothing to eat it with. The price is about the same as at other similar restaurants, but with rice and naan that need to be ordered separately, it ends up being more expensive.

    One of favorite places to eat in York Region. Everything is top quality. Arrived before 5 pm and the place already was filling up. Others must be discovering this lovely restaurant!

    Excellent service, great patio- ask for a porch table. The best lamb vindaloo in the city! Along with everything else on the menu. 5 stars across the board! Thanks for a great date night!

    Ambiyan is our go to in Markham for Indian food. There are lots of other choices in Markham but we continue to return often. They have gotten to know us quite well and the service is excellent. The food is always top notch and never disappoints. We love the chicken tikka masala, lamb curry, and Chana masala (chick peas). Great location on Main Street Unionville.
