L'Antico Posto (ou « vieil endroit ») est un intime café italien et bar à vin, soigneusement caché au Oakbrook Center Mall. Ce restaurant de quartier jouit d'une atmosphère chaleureuse et invitante combinée à une nourriture réconfortante italienne simple. The service was wonderful but the young hostess didn’t honor reservations. We were waiting & she took people ahead of us that had later reservations. Plus we requested a booth . There were 3 open booths and she ignored our request. Our waiter was excellent & food was great as usual! Everyone had issues with the open table reservations.

Had a reservation, so we were seated upon arrival. Server was no where to be found through long parts of the meal. Had to find her to get a third cream for the third coffee. 3 cups, only 2 creams!? Had to ask a busser for a new knife. The one in my napkin roll was dirty. Server accommodated immediately with a new silverware roll. Food was delicious. Noise was aweful! The couple seated next to us was almost having to yell at one another to have a conversation as were we. This may become a carry out only place for us.

Wonderful meal including all aspects, appetizers, salad and entrees. The staff was friendly and attentive.

Another delightful lunch. Tried the blood orange spritz. Quite refreshing. Had the salmon vesuvio. I've never had that before and it was delicious. The salmon was cooked to perfection and the traditional "vesuvio" seasoning on the potatoes was very tasty.

White fish was delicious. Done perfectly. Bread was warm, soft inside and crispy out. No problem substituting spinach for peas which were fresh and very good. Service by Zach was excellent. Always a good meal. Evident by the full house at noon on Friday.

My friend and I had a great time during happy hour here! The food, drinks, and service were outstanding. We’ll definitely be back!

Pappardelle w/ Braised Beef Ragu was very good. Al dente pasta was just right. Ragu was deeply flavored. Beef was a tad on the salty side for my tastes. Chicken Francese. Chicken was moist and crispy. But for my taste pan sauce could have used much more lemon.
