We aim to give you an unforgettable feeling when you taste our food, taking you to the various regions of Puglia, have you been? If not, then its time to go there ... of course, through us! Or feel free to visit our main branch in Bari, where we have had years of experience creating wonderful dishes, which we now bring to you in London.The most important ingredients that we use in creating our dishes are actually imported directly from local producers and farmers from the Puglia region.We use very little yeast in our dough for both our homemade bread and pizzas and the proving process is a minimum of 72 hours.We, Sassa & Sons, are bringing Italian style cooking to you using our grandma’s recipes, unchanged in every way.

I was dining alone as in London for a conference and had been before with friends so I knew the area and restaurant However as a lone diner I felt awkward as I was asked several times if I was eating alone The food was good but rushed , I had 2 courses plus a glass of wine and was finished in under an hour I have eaten alone in plenty of restaurants when in London for meetings etc and felt at ease in my surroundings but this was the first time I’ve been eager to leave

We have been to this restaurant before and have never been disappointed, the food and the staff are great. It can be a bit noisy when it is full but that’s the nature of being popular close to the Barbican and I’m sure we added to that. Happy to highly recommend
