Ours is a story only Miami can tell. It’s about lands far away but not forgotten, a culture we’re building as we put down roots, and the heights we can reach. Executive Chef and Owner Michael Beltran’s vision — shaped by passion for his Cuban heritage, devotion to championing Miami ingredients and tradition, and commitment to classic French technique — guides one of the city’s most talented restaurant teams in every dish, every drink, every moment at Ariete.

Most important, though, is that you experience delicious food. That you escape. That you feel welcome in our home. Take a ride through a tasting menu or experience our canard à la presse in our dining room. Join us at the bar for our Florida Orange and a cocktail.

From our corner of Coconut Grove, we’ve sent a message: Miami has a place at the global culinary table. In 2022, we put a Michelin Star on the wall. The world is listening.

This is Miami’s food story. We invite you to join us in writing the next chapter.

From the OpenTable editors: French and New American flavors get progressive twists at chef Michael Beltran’s MICHELIN-starred restaurant. In a modern farmhouse-like space, Beltran dazzles with dishes that could include a chicken foie mousse with a duck and orange paté, a nod to Florida’s signature fruit—one example of how this restaurant expertly fuses new and classic techniques.

Ariete, a standout dining destination, is praised for its "impeccable service" and "innovative cuisine." Guests revel in the expertly prepared duck and "amazing" desserts like the flan. While some find it pricey, the "creative and outstanding dining experience" justifies the Michelin star distinction. Perfect for special occasions.

Extremely disappointing experience... We had heard great things about Ariete, but it was by far the worst overall fine dining experience we have had. Server was rude to us, staff felt very rushed. Multiple times, the server got the name/ ingredients of the dish we were served wrong. Food was the most disappointing part, notably the turkey was incredibly overcooked. Bathroom was leaking (pouring water) from the ceiling. I did not expect this type of service nor food from a restaurant like Ariete.

We had the Canard a la presse and it was an outstanding experience. Everything was impeccable and they paired the duck with a wine specially produced for them to be paired with the dish and made it sublime (a Syrah - garnacha blend). In few words, this place is worth every recommendation and I would always make a stop when visiting Miami

Given everything we have heard about Ariete, it turned out just to be “ok”. The menu is too simple and uninspired, the dishes fail to deliver either Cuban or French experiences, let alone a creative fusion of the two. We had the oysters, which weren’t really grilled, but rather soupy and oversauced. The chicken was bland not worth finishing, the fish was fine. Most dishes left you feeling like they were trying a bit too hard to be something they are not. Even the bread course was basically just Madeline shaped corn bread. Cocktails and glasses of wine were $20+ per, but good. We skipped dessert and the bill was still $270, which is fine for a dinner you would have again. It was a “one and done” experience for us, and I feel I could have made this at home with a bit more inspiration.

Easily one of the top five dining experiences I’ve had in my life, including several fine dining experiences around the world. We opted for the multi-course tasting, and every course was somehow more amazing than the previous. The staff was helpful, attentive, and delightful too. For all of the nice things I have to say, it’s worth mentioning that you will pay for it. The bill was indeed eye-popping. That being said, I do not regret our choices. This place is a gem.

Well executed, unique preparations. Expensive. Service is casual but complete; ie, plates and silverware replaced before each new course, each of the unique dishes fully explained, questions readily answered, all smiles, etc. Except for the pricing, it would be easy to return to Ariete over and over. Did I mention that it’s expensive? Still a good buy but, for us, it might be saved for special impressions.

Didn’t love the food, we have been to a lot of Michelin star restaurants, and we just didn’t like how every dish was sweet.

We had a delightful dinner. The foie gras and the mango tres leches were especially delicious. Would absolutely go again if I’m back in Miami.
