Shrimp tempura should not be called tempura as the batter is not tempura batter. The flounder was dry and bland. The homemade squash pasta was excellent.

Our favorite restaurant never disappoints! The food is always top quality, the staff is knowledgeable, helpful and really cares about their service. We love the creative and seasonal approach to the menu items. Always a wonderful experience!

The election night special was lots of fun... and super delicious (as AV dinners always are!): Green Chile Bacon Cheeseburger (6oz ground brisket patty, tucumcari cheddar, applewood bacon, garlic aioli, potato bun (gfa) and choice of house-cut fries or simple green salad). I got the fries and she got the salad and we sat close to share. 😍 She had red wine and I an IPA. Dessert: the apple fritter and a caffè corretto. Michael was great (as always)....

Service (Michael) was great - pork tenderloin dish was uninspiring and over priced and a tad overcooked. Could eat several middle pieces but the “ends” were to well done. Cod was good but super small portion and not great value. The Foccia bread I thought would have come a bit warm but was room temp however the butter with maple made it really good. The wine and old fashion were highlights. We passed on desert as nothing seemed remotely appealing from the descriptions.
