I can not believe how horrible our experience was. The king crab order was 135.00 and came out with no butter, no way to eat them and no waiter to be found. Cold crab is never good. When we spoke to the manager he just said I’m sorry and walked away. The waiter spent the entire evening blaming other staff members for his lack of attention. At one point he told us Donald Trump was to blame for the cost of the King Crab. That one took me by surprise. We went for a special night out for our daughter and the entire night we waited and watched our waiter casually walk through the dining room while failing to take care of any of our needs. We understand waiting during a busy service time but not having water in our glass the entire night is just unacceptable. The water is just one of many request he did not fill. Also, they were basic request like ice and a way to eat our food. The most unacceptable part of the night was the manager who failed to acknowledge the mis-steps and just walked away when made aware. I live in the neighborhood and will never return to this establishment after last night. I know it’s an ATL staple and has a long history but it will always be a NO for me. Staff and management training is so important… 🦀🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Avoid this place if you have allergies. Our team ignored our allergy request 3 times on the same visit and still served us egg allergy food. Mgmt team did nothing

We (a party of six) went to AFM last night for our daughter’s 23rd birthday. Having just visited last month, we were really disappointed in our experience this time. We were running late due to traffic and called and the hostess was very accommodating and assured us that our 15 minute delay was not a problem. As expected, we waited about 20 minutes to be seated. The hostess took us to a table and there was food on the booth seat and obvious crumbs. We asked if someone could please clean it quickly before three of us (each side) “scooted” into the booth. She never answered that request but seemed bothered and took us to another table in the “lounge” area. It was much closer together, louder and not comfortable. When we asked if we could please just have someone wipe the original seat, the hostess said, “No” and walked away. (Please note that two booths beside the original one were also empty so we could have been seated in one of those.) We remained pleasant in an effort to enjoy our daughter’s birthday dinner. Our waiter was fine but our daughter’s drink was “forgotten” TWICE so my husband finally got up to remind him. Additionally, five dinners were served but again, the birthday girl’s dinner did not arrive at the same time. We waited several minutes before hers finally arrived. Thankfully, our food was wonderful & each dish was expertly prepared. We have been loyal patrons of AFM for many, many years and the service & experience is usually outstanding, as my review last month indicated, but this experience was very disappointing and the service was certainly lacking. I’m hopeful this was simply an off night as our expectations were not met. Again, the food was great and the dessert with candle for our daughter was a nice touch. I leave this review in hopes management can address issues like these to prevent this type thing from happening to others.

This was our 2nd visit for our date night❤️Everything was SUPERB! Our reservation was at 7:15pm, but we arrived at 7. They seated us promptly before our reservation time. Our server was excellent, food is consistently great just overall worth the price!

Connor is an excellent server who provided impeccable service. Every Culinary Selection was perfect. The drinks were great.

The Hong Kong style Sea bass and scallops were outstanding! The wedge salad was extremely fresh, the peach martini🍸 was tasty, and our waitress Sherlinda was on point. This old Atlanta classic did not disappoint!

Wedge salad was excellent! We had yellowfin, tuna and scallops both pan seared. Comes with yummy mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables. added cream corn, which was fresh and hot! This restaurant never disappoints!

I moved to Georgia in 2023 and have passed by this restaurant several times and finally took the plunge! I had Grouper Parisienne and the amazing Flaming Piña Quemada. Just a wonderful meal and experience.
