- KKareemAtlanta Metro •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoRays in the city is one of my favorite spots in Atlanta. The service is great, even on the weekends when busy. You are always treated as if you matter to the business which is rare in Atlanta. Food is always great, this is my go to for a really good steak in the city, everyone else over prices and serves horrible cuts of meat. Our server was absolutely patient, professional, and accommodating in every way. Can’t wait to return!More infoRay's in the CityPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Downtown•4.6

The Best Places to Grab a Drink in Atlanta This Summer
Though you won’t catch a local calling this city “Hotlanta,” there’s a good reason it earned that nickname—and it’s not just because of the muggy weather. Atlanta is a hotbed of exciting bars, consisting of laidback dens and sceney haunts. From lounges with award-winning cocktail programs and wine lists to taprooms with beers brewed on the premises, here are some of the bars most beloved by Atlantans.
Discover Downtown
Atlanta natives are hiding some secrets. Their beloved pimiento cheese, the pâté of the South, was invented in New York.[1] Can anyone prove that the first batch of fried green tomatoes was whipped up in Atlanta?[2] There are far more peanuts grown in Georgia than peaches[3], and frying was a West African innovation rather than a Southern one.[2] Traditional favorites still satisfy, but the Atlanta dining scene is enjoying more global influence than ever before. Buford Highway, which runs through the center of town, boasts 20 separate international communities.[4] As a result, you’re just as likely to find snow crab chawanmushi or mughlai paratha on the menu as shrimp and grits or fatback-fried catfish. Whatever you sink your teeth into, it will be served up with homey Southern hospitality.
