The original jewel in the Oliver & Bonacini crown and a North Toronto icon, Auberge du Pommier has been serving guests since 1987. Constructed around the rustic vestiges of two 1860’s woodcutters’ cottages, Auberge du Pommier combines country charm with contemporary sophistication and style. Featuring wood burning fireplaces in winter and lush, floral terraces in summer, it is a welcoming, refined retreat from the city.

Please note: reservations for Summerlicious open on June 29, and will be available online only.

Our table was next to a big group of people, kind of noisy. Overall food and services were good.

Four people smoking directly outside the entrance So I cloud of cigarette was not a good start. Great greeting once inside. Hostess was great. Atmosphere was great and so was the service. The food and drink was disappointing. Lychee martini was pink and had a cherry in it. Not made correctly at all. Vodka Martini was on shot not two. All martinis are two shots. Escargot was average. Salmon was cooked perfectly but was very bland. I know restaurants that serve a much much better salmon and a much better price. The steak was also OK. Unimpressive food. Especially for the price. Sorry for the poor review but that is the only way we all improve.

The service was excellent! Unfortunately, the food was below par. The food tasted only ‘average’ when compared to previous visits, which was very disappointing. All in all a unique dining experience. Perhaps we just ordered the wrong things on the menu?

Reunited with old friends at this hidden gem. If you’re looking for a way to reconnect with your GTA friends Auberge is a great location to minimize the traffic hassles. The restaurant has fantastic service, a calm, relaxing environment and a simple, beautifully prepared menu. I enjoyed the beet salad and salmon for lunch, both were tasty although the salmon could have been less cooked….but the veggies were very good. The staff were attentive without being invasive. All in all a great outing. Sherry

My first time here and it was absolutely delightful. The ambiance is beautiful, the service was impeccable, and the food was absolutely delicious. On par with restaurants of this caliber. And the prices weren’t outrageous. Needless to say my party was impressed and I will definitely visit again. Bravo to the chef and staff.

Always a lovely place, white table cloths, an old French dwelling feel. We were seated near a fireplace with a real wood burning fire. The food has always been good but on this occasion it was even better. Dover sole, a personal souffle. Good Spanish wine and excellent service to boot. Yes pricey but for our anniversary this was definitely the right thing.

Great ambience. Amazing service and food. Surprised it’s taken me so long to finally get here, as it’s been around for a long time and will likely be around for years to come.
