   Upon arrival we noticed that there was a fireplace. We requested to be seated near it and were accommodated. Service was what I would consider slow given that the restaurant did not seem all that busy. My back was to the rest of the dining room, but the other couple we were with was able to see that our server seemed to be waiting on tables throughout the restaurant as well as serving as the hostess. Once the hostess did arrive my friend commented that she was here, but on her phone. It was 45 minutes from the time we arrived until our main entrees arrived. The food was very good and prepared as ordered, however, nothing was hot. I would rate my entire plate as lukewarm at best. I did not mention it to the server, as waiting for them to prepare a hot plate was not an option and I did not want to chance my food being microwaved to heat it up. I ordered the Brussels Sprouts as my side. They had a very good flavor, but some of them were so large that they were undercooked and very hard to cut (with a steak knife) into a bitesize piece. Overall, the food was delicious and we would give it another try to see if they improve on the food coming out of the kitchen hot.

   The California salad with chicken was so delicious and fresh with crunchy greens, fresh fruit, blue cheese crumbles and a honey lime vinaigrette. My dinner companion enjoyed the Cajun grouper sandwich which is available at dinner time for the asking (listed on the lunchtime menu). For dessert; espresso martinis that are the BEST in Northeast Ohio!

   We always have a delicious dinner when we come to Austin's. We requested Dave to be our server because he always treats us so well. Thank you, Dave!! Whenever we have a chance to see friends for dinner it's always Austin's!!

   This is the second time in the past year where I have ordered a steak and it has arrived over cooked. In fact, everyone’s steak at the table was not cooked as ordered. For a ‘grille’ that reserves significant real estate on its menu for steaks, I expect better. The culinary team requires better training in understanding steak temperatures.

   Great food, especially the bread pudding dessert. Food temperature was spot on - soups were hot and so was the coffee. Friendly and attentive service.

    Food is tasty and a good value. The halibut special was outstanding and a very generous portion. Some small things detract from an otherwise very good experience. Our crab cakes were a little crushed and they were on old spinach leaves, some of which were totally yellow. Our server was very friendly but it took her a long time to greet us after we were seated. Table was missing salt (pepper was there) and it took 2 asks to receive it. Comments are meant constructively and we will be back!
