Opened in 2014 to a 4.5 Star review from the Baltimore Sun, Azumi is located on Baltimore's Inner Harbor in the elegant Four Seasons Hotel. With picturesque panoramic waterfront views, Azumi offers authentic Japanese cuisine with a strong focus on sushi matched with an amazing "hot kitchen." Azumi's Sake and Japanese Whiskey program is one of the largest in the region. Named the city's best Japanese restaurant by Baltimore Magazine, Azumi is also one of the hottest spots for nightlife in the city featuring a live DJ on weekends. Enjoy outdoor dining on our expansive patio. Outside seating can be requested but not guaranteed.

Azumi’s highly-skilled teppanyaki / hibachi chefs are on display in our new FLAME ROOM as they cook the highest-quality meats, seafood, vegetables & rice on a solid-surface iron griddle right before your eyes in this intimate & interactive dining experience.

Our Omakase counter is an interactive tasting course; Sitting at the Omakase counter is an educational & fun experience that does not exist at any other restaurant in the Baltimore area. Azumi serves a Nigiri-sushi exclusive “Omakase” menu consisting of approximately 18 courses with Premium ingredients. We source our fish and shellfish globally, with a special focus on Japan. The menu is priced at $225 at the Sushi Counter starting at 6:30 on the first Wednesday of each month. This event is limited to 10 seats, pairs or singles. RESTRICTIONS: Due to our style of cuisine, there will be minor restrictions that we cannot accommodate, including vegan, non-seafood eater, and gluten intolerance who cannot have regular soy sauce in cooking.

Our experience at Azumi was mixed. While the food was good, the service left much to be desired - from the hostess to the waiter. The reservation request was for a booth, but upon arrival, we were told booths weren’t available for parties of two. However, throughout our meal, we noticed multiple two-person parties seated in booths, which was frustrating. The hosts were dismissive and made no effort to accommodate our request. Our waiter seemed overwhelmed, rarely checked on us, and didn’t offer menu recommendations. We also had to ask multiple times for condiments, which made the dining experience feel inattentive. Most dishes were tasty—I’d rate it a 9/10. Highly recommended the spicy edamame, beef tenderloin and fried rice. Their take on the spider roll was underwhelming and lacked the usual bold flavors I expected. Overall, while the food was impressive, the lackluster service significantly detracted from the experience. I’d consider returning for the food, but hope they improve their hospitality.

Superb. Some of the best sushi I have ever had. It is a little pricey. That being said, the quality of the food is worth the price. Every time we go it is an outstanding experience. Our waiter Eric was one of th ebest we have ever had!

If you're into really great sushi, Azumi is the place to go! Everything is so fresh and beautifully presented. The sake selection is expansive with descriptions to help you select just the right one, and the service we had was exceptional. Our server didn't miss a thing. Thank you for a fabulous 2 hour birthday lunch!

service was outstanding!! we had tatiana (sorry if i butchered the spelling) she was so lovely!! food was soo good definitely quality sushi! and they had plenty of other options outside of just sushi. will be coming back
