   A Pleasant Surprise at Balthazar, London It had been a while since our last visit to Balthazar, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the experience this time around. The seafood Vol-au-Vent was delicious—rich, perfectly cooked, and flavored. I also tried the rosemary pomegranate mocktail, which was refreshingly well-balanced and not too sweet—a great complement to the meal. The rosti with caviar was another standout—elegant and indulgent without being overwhelming. The oysters were fine but nothing special—I’d likely skip them next time in favour of the more memorable dishes. Overall, a lovely evening with some unexpected highlights. I’m looking forward to returning sooner rather than later.

   This restaurant is a great location with lovely food and drinks. The decoration, service and menu was fantastic, and the set menu is a great deal. I will be coming back!

   Buzzing atmosphere, efficient service, good food and all within clean and classic French decor - could have been in a painting by Manet. Prix Fixe was excellent value and we'll prepared - had a whole mackerel without a bone in it

   Four of us had a pre theatre supper. Staff were all attentive and friendly . Cocktails were GREAT and food was delicious. Would highly recommend.

   The staff rushes around and hustles the customers through their meals. Everyone is very nice, but the food is soso. Definitely a cut (or two) below the NYC model.

    The service was just really poor, so Sites were rushed, impersonally and had to ask 2/3 time for different things Shame because previously we had always had a great experience
