Great service and menu options. Just make sure you get out of there within two hours to take advantage of the parking validation, as I paid $21 for 3.5 hours!

Had always wanted to try Bar Verde at Nordstrom’s at the Grove. As we wrapped up our Christmas shopping It seeemed like a perfect lunch break to wrap our day of Christmas Eve Shopping. Big mistake.First we were met at host stand with incompetence when we presented our selves for our 2:15 reservation and were told thats impossible we don’t accept reservation from Open Table and questioned our integrity. From there on out the experience went from bad to worse. Awful service even worst food that tasted like day old airplane food and again just negligent indifferent service. Zero stars stay away.

It may seem odd for a restaurant in a department store, but the food here is really good. The atmosphere on the patio overlooking the Grove is nice especially at holiday season. They make a great whiskey sour.

The drink was good, the food was average. I ordered heirloom tomato and burrata salad, which was good, but fried calamari tasted like old oil, had a bitter taste. Some thoughts to the chef… Service, though, was excellent 👍🏻.

Great choices in a peaceful environment but great views of the Grove! Very good food, good wine choices and very good customer service

Changes to several items weren’t as well received as in the past! Didn’t particularly care for changes to calamari and Brussels sprouts! Beverage menu was great!
