Delicious food and such a wonderful place to have close to a concert venue. We use it every time.

This used to be our number-one restaurant in the Quad Cities, but Monarch is now replacing it in Bettendorf, IA. Today, we went to Bass Street before a show at The Mark, right next door. The Lobster corn chowder used to have bits of lobster in it, but no more. The shrimp cocktail was OK; it was hard to mess that up. The wedge salad was just OK. My main complaint was the service. It used to be excellent, but it was worth the high prices and added to the ambiance. Now, the service is average at best and no longer justifies Bass Street's premium prices. Sadly, the food preparation is also no longer excellent. If you are going to a show and want to make it a romantic getaway, spend the night at the Wyndham Hotel, which houses Bass Strett and is next door to the Mark. Then you do not have to spend three hours getting out of the parking lot after the show! Otherwise, I would not make a memorable trip to Bass Street just for a meal.

Obnoxious people at the bar, guy fell when he stood up because he was so drunk. Shouldn’t have been served so much alcohol.

The restaurant was pretty bright so we sat in a booth by the bar. The food was very good and our server Becky was fantastic. The crab cakes and the steaks were great. Overall very impressed considering it’s a place in Moline, IL that used to be a TGIFridays.

We had dinner reservations for 3 people, 9pm— late meal— but sadly in a near empty dining room, the meal was rushed and poor quality. We ordered an appetizer, soup and salads which should be timed in an order to enjoy, but everything arrived at the same time. The crab cake was nearly burnt and soup lukewarm. And before we were finished, our main course was presented. Very poor dining timing. Two Delmonico steaks and a small filet were all ordered “medium” yet all 3 steaks arrived more than well done — brown and tough. We barely finished them. We could have returned the meals or complained but had invited a friend to have dinner with us and did not want to delay the night further. It was an overall disappointment for a highly rated and expensive steak restaurant.

Had a nice steak dinner the night before running the Quad Cities Half Marathon. The filet was excellent, and they weren't kidding about the "large" baked potato that was cooked perfectly. The meal was a little pricey, but perfectly cooked and very tasty.
