Beatrix is a neighborhood coffeehouse, restaurant and meeting place in Chicago’s River North, Streeterville, Fulton Market and Oak Brook neighborhoods. The restaurant is the brainchild of Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises’ Founder Rich Melman, Executive Partner and Divisional President Marc Jacobs and Chef Partners John Chiakulas, Rita Dever and Susan Weaver. The menu features healthy meets delicious options, and is known for its iconic coffee and bakery counter, including signature cookies, in-house pastry favorites and our house blends from Beatrix Coffee Roasters, featuring Light, Dark, Espresso and Decaf roasts.

                                                                Roomy and lively, this cafe was perfect for brunch on Sunday. I had lemon pancakes which were delicious! The coffee is strong and the waitstaff is friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend!

Our waitress was very sensitive and informed about food allergies as we had a diner with a nut allergy and a gluten free preference. Great options! The whipped feta appetizer was outstanding. Our entrees were also excellent. We will be back.

                                                                We come here regularly for lunch when we visit Northwestern Hospital but it's perfect anytime you're in Streeterville. The food, service and ambience is always excellent. You certainly don't know you're in a hospital building. Really. Especially when you enter from the street. Everything is excellent here. We continue to be partial to the quinoa/mushroom burger with fries, especially since it tastes really good (it's a "wow") and you don't miss the beef at all. It's not a "beef substitute" but rather delicious in itself. If you're a meat eater, try it, you'll love it. If you're vegetarian, try it, you'll love it.

We used this space for a business meeting and they were able to accommodate our request to sit near an outlet. The food was excellent, fresh, and served with great presentation. The open kitchen really adds to the experience.
