   We were excited to try this new location for one of our previous go-to's. Unfortunately, we were disappointed from start to finish. Parking, which was so abundant and free in the former location, was now subject to a $5 valet charge. We had asked for a quiet table--none to be had in this new space. The noise level made it difficult to be heard without screaming--which the party of 4 women and 1 man adjacent to us did repeatedly. The menu included many of our favorites, at higher prices, and we expected that. But the soup or salad with entrees is now a thing of the past, and an extra charge. One of us ordered the Caesar anyway; the other the house--both were meh. Our guest had the burrata appetizer, which looked and tasted delicious. He also ordered the veal saltimbocca--another great choice. My husband ordered the pork chop special--which the waiter claimed would be excellent. It was anything but. While large, it was a very thin cut and extremely dry. The accompanying potatoes were mushy, and the spinach lacked seasoning. My lasagna--previously consistently reliable--was just okay. Sad. Not sure if we'll be back.

   First time at Bella Via and we loved it!! Delicious food, fun atmosphere and our waitress, Marcy was fabulous!! We had Eggplant Parmigiana , Chicken Parmigiana and Chilean Sea Bass. All of our dishes were excellent!

   It's the 1st time at this new location. Bright and airy. The Bella Via Manhattan was very good. The grilled calamari was as good as I have ever eaten. The veal saltimbocca was tender and tasty. Going back again. The valet was a nice touch.

   My wife, a friend and I had a lovely dinner at Bella Via. This was our first time at their new location, though we had been to their previous location several times. The service and food was great. My wife had eggplant parmigiana, our friend had chicken parmigiana and I had pan seared halibut with artichoke. Each of us were given a side of mostaccioli marinara. It was really wonderful. Bella Via is neighborhood gem.

    I love their new location. Much smaller and more intimate than their old place. I love the vibe here. Service was outstanding. Food wasn't up to its usual high-quality level tonight. It's usually great, but something was off tonight. I've been here before, so I'll chalk it up to a bad night. I would definitely eat here again.
