   Our chef … chef OD was amazing. He was very personable with a sense of character. Made us smile for Christmas.

   I almost have to blame myself for making a reservation for 3:45p on Christmas Eve. Besides waiting for over 30 minutes upon arrival, the service was slow in general. This was not the fault of the server- the restaurant seemed to be understaffed We were not alone, there were other groups in the building when we arrived and the place got ridiculously packed as we were exiting. The only explanation I can come up with is we arrived in the middle of a shift change. We didn’t get salads until after 4:30p.. and we finally finished our meal at 5:50p. For paying almost $600, I wasn’t impressed.

   Awful. Had a reservation for 6:30pm… didn’t end up sitting down until 8:30pm. Extremely slow service. Benihana management needs to look into this place because it is way below their standards. Huge disappointment.

   This is probably one of the worst run restaurants in Atl. Our reservation was for 9PM and we were not seated until 9:30PM. A waitress did not come over to greet us until 9:55PM. When she did, she stated that the hostess did not assign a waiter or waitress to the table, hence the 25 minute wait. The waitress was nice and cordial. The chef finally arrived to our table at 10:50PM. We waited almost 2 hours before the presentation started. The food was prepared with too much garlic butter and seasoning. This is not the Benihana that I’m used to. Overall, it was an underwhelming and mismanaged experience. I will never return to this location.

   My chefs name was Stanley … I didn’t get the other guys name that cashed us out but he had locs and was super nice … the was the best visit I’ve had here since before Covid honestly will be returning

   Literally the worst hibachi experience I’ve ever had. My family and I had a reservation for 8:45p. We arrived at 8:30 and was constantly told we were next in line on to sit down an hour later. Don’t make a reservation because there’s no point, you’ll be waiting the same amount of time as a party adding themselves on the waitlist. Additionally, while we were waiting nobody checked in with us or gave us updates, we didn’t get any update until we saw a party of 25 go by and decided to ask what was going on. Granted, I’ve worked in food so I know it can get rough, but there are small things you can do to enhance a guest experience. Once we sat down we waited another 20-30 minutes just for drinks. Our server(Sarah) was super sweet though. Our chef on the other hand, seemed flustered and didn’t do any of the tricks you go to Benihana for. He didn’t light the table on fire, no volcano, or choo choo train, no egg tricks, just nothing. Now, that’s not to say the man is there for our entertainment, but the whole point is technically dinner and a show. Not to mention he got some of our orders wrong as well. I have a shellfish allergy and he almost put shrimp on my plate. So you can imagine our frustration waiting for an hour, then getting an amateur chef. Again, we had an 8:45 reservation and got there at 8:30, we left at 11:45p. Who stays in a restaurant that long?The Benihana on peachtree doesn’t have to worry about me ever again.

   My reservation was for 8 didn’t get seated until 850. Didn’t receive our food until 10pm. Left out of the restaurant and my car was broken into. There were a total of 6 cars broken into including mine. Police was called around 1050pm but didn’t arrive until 1 am. Items were stolen from my car. The security guard on the inside of the restaurant was nice enough to assist with cleaning the glass up. Apparently this is an ongoing issue and there should be security patrolling the parking lot. Parking is horrible.

   We were seated on time with reservations, but waited 15 minutes for drinks and 30 minutes for soup/salad. Our appetizer came out after that while chef had started cooking. The server was really my only issue. She brought me the wrong drink as well. However, Our chef and food was amazing which is why we still love this place. Chicken and shrimp were better than the steak for the price.

    Restaurant was gross and nasty and dirty . Bathrooms nasty no TP no paper towels. Food on the floor. For a $900 meal it should have been top notch . Manager was worried about food on the floor but didn't seem to be bothered with no sign on the ladies bathroom door nor how gross the bathrooms were .Cook was fabulous.
