   I celebrated my birthday with my niece and great-niece, and we had a wonderful time. Stanley was our chef, and he was awesome. Our waiter, Thomas, was also really good. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience, especially the happy birthday celebration at the end, which included delicious green tea ice cream. I definitely plan to come back again!

   For $40-50 entrees and a near hour wait to be seated (with a reservation), then another hour to be served, I would skip this experience. Plenty of quality restaurants in Atlanta that are more deserving of your business. The poor hibachi chefs seemed overbooked and stressed out, with tables like ours being seated at grills long before the chefs were ready for us. Again, skip this restaurant altogether - you can find better value & quality for your money elsewhere! Our waiter was extremely sweet & we appreciated his service when the overall restaurant’s was lackluster.

   I honestly love the food, Stanley was our chef and he was great! Definitely love the energy! However I don’t like how slow service is even when you have a reservation. I made one and still did not get to fully eat my entree for another 2 hours because of how long it took for us to get seated and then serviced. Do not come here if you’re hangry because it will take a minute but the food is still great!

   It was total chaos! We had a reservation for 8 people at 6:15. We were not seated until 7:03, then waited 30 more minutes for the chef to come and start cooking. Food was good, but what’s the point of a reservation if you have to wait a total of an hour and 15 mins to even begin your service! We were late to our concert. Do better Benihana!

   Had a wonderful time soon as I got to door!! From the security to the front desk to the host to the chef everyone was so nice and respectful!!! Food was amazing and not pricey!!! I’m definitely going back!!!

   My shrimp had a very fishy taste and smell which I usually do not get when going there. The chef although notified of a seafood allergy of someone in my party cooked shrimp on the grill before her food was complete. Had to change utensils and clean the grill and made the same mistake again. Her food proteins had to be cooked in the back.

   I arrived at 745 for an 8pm reservation. Once checked in, the hostess informed me that she’d seat my party as soon as a table was ready. About 40 min had passed, now 8:25 and I inquired on how much longer my wait would be. I was informed by hostess that I had a 5 party ahead of me and it wouldnt be too much longer. I asked if they were seating smaller parties but she said no. And informed that they were short staffed and only had 3 servers. She also shared that they had over 100 parties that day, which I respectfully shared it was not my concern. Fast forward, my party was sat, inwhich there were not enough space. I had to subsequently sit at bar. Separate from my party. I was irritated at this point as I was there celebrating my sons birthday. While at the bar, the bartender was waiting on the bar and seating area which I had to still wait for acknowledgement for about 20 min after seating. And then, not to mention they charge for teriyaki sauce!!!! Entire experience was horrible. And to add, restrooms were nasty and smelled. Highly disappointed in the level of service I received. Wont return anytime soon, if at all.

    If I could give this digusting excuse of a restaurant a zero I would. I booked a reservation through Open Table for 3:30 so my family could celebrate my niece's birthday. We thought it would be fun and nostalgic to pick Benihana. I arrived on time and approached a man at the hostess desk who was extremely rude. I advised we were there for a 3:30 reservation. He curtly said, I don't have it. I showed him my Open Table reservation for 3:30 and he says "well, its showing on my computer that it was for 12:47. I said, Sir, its right here on my phone for 3:30 through Open Table.". Then he interrupts me, throws up his hands and says I'm not arguing with you, then instructs his security guard to escort me out. Wow! This 'manager' is a sad, miserable, egotisical, pride-driven parasite who needs God in his life. I pray he gets everything he deserves and more. DO NOT EVER give one dime to this restaurant. After I advised him to please accommodate us, we decided to go elsewhere after we were seated. No point in spending money where we were disrespected as if they were doing us a favor. Horrible!
