   This was by far the best experience I’ve ever had at a Benihana. Why? Because of Chef Chul. WOW! He was extremely talented and put on a show. Benihana needs to give him a raise. He’s definitely under valued and it’s rare these days to have someone like him on your team. We will definitely be back just to see him!

   This was the worst experience, if I could give 0 stars - I would. My reservation was for 7, I wasn’t seated until 8:30 and didn’t eat until almost 9:15. The host wasn’t forthright, the waiter was rude. I’ve been going to Benihana for over a decade and my experience was so bad I may never return. I’d leave a dozen bad reviews if I could. My martini wasn’t shaken well either

   We had to wait almost an hour to be seated due to being short staffed. The host apologized and kept us updated. The manager, Kelsey, came out and personally apologized and offered us complimentary appetizers and drinks while we waited. This level of customer service is exceptional and was very much appreciated. Dinner was great as always.

   Reservation for 7:30 pm waiting more After waiting for more than 45 minutes, we were finally given a table, and even then, at almost 10:30, we decided to leave. That’s when they told us the chef was almost ready. The wait was just too long.

   Had a 6:45 reservation and got our food at 9:20. I don’t usually write reviews but man that was some experience. We stuck it out, food was great but that was one horrible service experience

   First time going here. We waited an hour to be seated after our initial reservation time and the bar area took over 30 mins just to get drinks during our wait. The restaurant seems to always overbook reservations based off the reviews and our experience. Food was good but we spent a total of 3.5 hours in there by the time we paid the bill. Would rather go to more authentic hibachi for a better experience and organized service.

   Do not expect to be seated near your reservation time, the system intentionally overbooks the restaurant to ensure full tables. Our group had a 5:30 reservation and weren't seated until 6:30. Every group in the waiting area was in the same situation and you could tell it was only going to get worse as the evening went on. I felt bad for the employees as it seemed very stressful and they were doing the best they could. Things got better when we finally began our meal at 7:30pm and our chef Olivia was great! Due to the ridiculous reservation system and way overpriced menu we won't be returning.

    We intentionally made an earlier dinner reservation for 5:30 with the hopes of beating the dinner time rush, but didn't get seated at our table until 6:20. The restaurant was understaffed and our server was clearly overwhelmed, but it shouldn't have taken 20 minutes for our table to get a round of water. Our chef did a great job and was a lot of fun, but the overall experience was pretty negative since we were there for a more than 3 hours past our actual reservation time.
