   I have been here many times. Last night our food was cooked all wrong. Let’s start with that we ordered one fried rice no veggies. Well the cook started making it with veggies and I had to remind him. He then quickly fixed his error but served the rice without egg. Then all our steaks were cooked under temperature. We ordered medium and some parts were medium rare. The rice was very greasy and so were the veggies. Not to mention that we could not even speak with the waitress from how loud the place was. To invest so much money on this meal for the family and be disappointed is unacceptable. Benihana chain should do better and make the experience what it used to be.

   After a one-day-early birthday celebration with family on Sunday, my husband and I wanted a simple but pleasant meal on my actual Monday birthday. We were greeted and seated promptly. We enjoyed cocktails while Oscar cooked our flavorful meal. Our server was outstanding and checked on us frequently. A manager stopped by to inquire about our experience. Although we enjoyed the food, it was the great service we received that made our experience tonight at Benihana memorable.

   The servers were very nice. Only white rice available, processed butter spread in large quantities was used to cook the food, which is what has always been the norm with Benihana’s. They need to upgrade according to today’s diet expectations. The restaurant wasn’t very clean and the toilet seat was falling off. There was grease on the equipment and a rip in our seat, grime on the handrails going up to the restrooms. In my opinion, if Benihanas doesn’t do complete upgrade nationwide, they will fail as a restaurant within due time.

   You can’t go wrong with Benihana, Service was great they made sure to sit us together since we were 12 people they made sure to get us 2 tables together. Luis our chef was great as well. Overall for a big group celebrating a Birthday this is the spot. Btw Try the Whale Sake you’ll thank me later

   We dined in the lounge area tables. The food was very tasty, but the food temperature overall was not satisfactory.

    We had such an awesome dinner. Our server along with our chef made it even better. Our son was heading into surgery the next day so they made our and especially his night wonderful. Thank you coral gables Benihana! We’re heading back next month for another surgery so we’ll be back!
