   I made a reservation two days prior for 7 pm. I showed up at 7 pm and they made me wait 30+ minutes and could not even give me a table because I arrived at 7 and not any earlier so I left on my birthday and went somewhere else.

   Waited more than hour and half to be seated even though we had reservations. Reading previous comments now, looks this is happening every day. Definitely not returning again.

   We were seated half hour after our reservation. And then we waited another 90 minutes for our chef to come while the table seated after us already had their chef cooking for them. And then to top it off, when our chef came, the server taking our order didn’t turn on our flat top so we had to wait an additional 15-20 minutes for it to get hot before our chef could start cooking. Our server had the GM come over and talk to us which he apologized several times for the missteps. He gave us half off our bill which was ok. But wow! What a terrible experience. A couple of us had children in our group and an early dinner ended up extending way past bedtime. We ended dinner at 8:30? 3 hours? Yeesh!

   There’s no point of placing reservations because you’d still have to wait for 1hr to get seated even though we showed up early for the dinner.

   We will never try to dine at Benihana again. We made reservations for 8:30 pm, at 10:15 we were still waiting. We decided to place a takeout order elsewhere and as we were walking out they called us. There were crowds of people waiting for their tables for hours. Complete lack of management skills. Apparently, they have been dealing with the same issue for days and they blame it on customers not leaving on time.

   I made reservations and had to wait over an hour and a half. Food preparation was rushed. Even though this was a holiday this was inferior planning for management's part for proper staffing and timing of reservations. It was a zoo.

   Our chef and server were great as was the food but we had a reservation for 6:30 and were not seated until 8pm.

   really dissapointed. we made a reservation well in advance for 5:30pm. upon arriving, they said they didn’t have space for us and wouldn’t for at least 30 minutes. it proceeded to take even longer and no comp or anything else was done. why make a reservation if it’s not even honored?

    Worst ever Reservation at 7 pm - seated at 8:15 - no food or chef at 8:45pm Rude front desk - rude manager - and zero accountability. Go to Kyoto palace instead
