   I love Benihana! Danny was our cook and he was good as usual, so funny and nice. Our waiter was really busy but he did good too. The manager came over to help with bills at the end. Nothing to complain about. Nice experience. They did sit my group of six together without adding one or two strangers which was nice.

   My overall experience was okay. I usually get a salad that goes with my meal. I was asked if I still wanted my salad? I should not have to get asked do I still want it. It should have been giving to me automatically.

   It took over an hour to receive our food and there was barely anyone in the restaurant. The manager came up to our table and explain that someone had an allergic reaction and that was the reason it took our food some long to come out. By this time we were ready to leave and had requested carry out service. Our food came our separately from the hibachi rice and we still had to wait few more minutes. However, the manager did discount our bill.

   Service and food had declined tremendously in the last few years. I will no longer patronize Dearborn Benihana.

   Had a overall good experience for lunch today. Of course the food was spot on always consistent and delicious. Little rough of a start with their seating rules. The host wasn't not going to let our party 7 of 8 sit until our 8th arrived. But we knew what to order for her and not to delay the chef. Didn't matter to the host, nor the fact the restaurant was nearly empty. I understand the reason for the policy but just a minimal amount of some common sense should have been in order. Eventually we were able to speak to a manager and get sat. Another knock was the bathroom, this was 12:30 today they opened at 11, its pretty clear to me that the closing crew did not clean the bathroom from the previous shift and it was OVERDUE. Seems like opening crew should have caught that.. Place is mostly empty, like some of the working staff sitting around could have knocked it out. Its amazing what amazing food will do. Because the above experiences were not good, but our group was just thrilled and extremely satisfied with the delicious meal prepared right in front of us.

   Waited 20 minutes to be seated, so I sat at the bar. No one came up to me to see if I wanted a drink - in which I did. I left the bar and just waited at the front to be seated. Once seated I waited an additional 25 minutes just to be asked if I wanted anything to drink. Waited over 30 minutes for the appetizers, my reservation was for 7:15pm - I did not see a cook until 9:15pm. The cook showed favoritism due to knowing someone at the table, gave them and their friends extra food but skimped out on myself and 3 other individuals that were sitting at the table as well. For the price I paid for myself which was $110 I expected better treatment and service. I more than likely will not be back. I came in at 7:15pm and did not leave until 9:55pm. Very unacceptable especially for the price of everything.

   Absolutely horrid we wound up walking out an hour later. With no drinks food or even water. They didn’t realize they didn’t hand us menus. My fork was sticky. Never received water was there for an hour. Worst service and treatment ever.

   Much much better experience than 2 weeks ago. Tyrone (I hope I’m spelling his name correctly) was OUTSTANDING as the chef. Food was perfectly seasoned, flavored and the best I’ve had in ages. I definitely will be back because of his cooking. Latasha my server was wonderful and did an amazing job. I let the manager know but I wanted to post online as well. Thanks for a GREAT experience

    Great experience! Frank, our chef, created a wonderful meal and plenty of their famous garlic butter. This is definitely our favorite location.
