   Service was great and the food was perfect but even with a reservation it took us an hour later to be seated. This is now the second time this has happened to us in the past two months.

   I recently visited Benihana and had a great dining experience overall. The food was amazing, full of flavor, and cooked to perfection right in front of us. Our chef was not only skilled but also friendly and entertaining, making the meal even more enjoyable. The service was solid, with the staff being attentive and accommodating. That said, the restaurant itself feels a bit rundown and cramped. The tables are packed in tightly, making the space feel a little too crowded. It could definitely use some updates to match the quality of the food and service. If you’re looking for a cleaner, more spacious experience, I’d recommend checking out the Arcadia location, which feels much newer and better maintained.

   This was the worst dinner ever. I have been coming to this restaurant for years and last night was by far beyond terrible. We were seated in a pathway for the chefs and servers and were disturbed multiple times during our means. The trolly carts that the chefs push couldn’t fit between us and the 2 people sitting behind us. We were bumped multiple times and were interrupted during our meal to keep getting up for the carts to pass through. This is unacceptable! If you can’t have a fitting pathway, then customers shouldn’t be seated there. I complained to the manager (Dean) and he was so rude and passive. What a bad manager with no customer service skills. He didn’t do anything to make our experience better and just rolled his eyes at us and walked away. What a waste of time and money this dinner was. I would like another manager to call me to further discuss my dissatisfaction.

   Everything was great. We celebrated my daughter’s birthday at Benihana for the 7th straight year and we will definitely be returning for an 8th.

   It could’ve been better, the restaurant was running about 40 mins behind schedule and I ordered the wagyu beef and it was supposed to be cooked medium and the chef left it on the stove by the time it was served, it was a very well done steak which beats the purpose of a wagyu beef order.

   They need to figure out how to let us know when our tables are ready by not scream out loud our names. Just destroys the experience. We’re not at a fast food place you know? Thanks.

   David our chef was pretty awesome and so was our waitress. Unfortunately we had an obnoxious table mate who kept criticizing the chef so that kinda soured the mood a bit but we were there for my son’s birthday and we quickly tried to ignore it. We tried to approach a manager to share how great our experience was but he was rude as can be and left us with a bad experience. I believe his name was Jason but I’m not sure. It might be a bit before we go back but the service was great.
