    Wasn’t a huge fan of the onion soup because it’s more just like broth. The salad is just bagged lettuce. Main course was delicious. Will go back to try the sushi .

    Our waitress, hostess, & Papi, the cook, were very friendly and welcoming! They gave us superb service!

    Was a great meal as always. We go as a family with our two daughters, 7 and 8. Perfect atmosphere for them!

    The server wasn’t attentive she never came to clear the table even when it was brought to her attention she never cleared the bowls/plates. Never provided a refill I had to go get my own to go container. She was very neglectful.

    The chef was getting rather wild while cooking the food. The hot rice straight off the grill flew and landed on my left hand, leaving me with pain for the rest of the evening. He apologized and gave me a towel to wipe off the rice. I did let the restaurant manager know and wrote an “incident report” before leaving.

    A mediocre experience at best. From terrible lighting to a chef who piled on the pepper to charging for club soda, Benihana is no longer an exciting or delicious experience. I grew up going to their restaurants in California and it was always fabulous. Now, living in Michigan, I decided to go after a day of shopping as we live two hours away and figured the kids would enjoy dinner with a show. I was wrong. No theatrics, little engagement, terrible food and a complete waste of time. Competitor hibachi restaurants are offering so much better, don’t waste your time with Benihana as they are no longer what they once were. Sad.

    Our chef Amar was great. Cooked everything well with lots of flavor. Service was pretty good, I was disappointed that the drink selection was minimum. No local drafts, very little beer choices. Online drink menu is not accurate. Overall it was a good experience.
