   Even tho it was our servers 4th day there, she did an outstanding job.. She was very helpful and attentive. As many times as I been to Benihana she has been the best.. For only to be her 4th day..

   Had a reservation for 7:15. Was seated around 7:50 and did not have a waiter at 8:40. Me and my party of four got up and left at that time. We ended up going to Osaka in Cordova. Was very disappointed in the overall experience. Benihana is a place I like to eat at. This is the third experience in a row that I was not satisfied with.

   We had to wait 1.5hrs before our chef came to our table. Very disappointed because we were celebrating my bday.

   The food and drinks was good a bit pricey the $30 dollar birthday coupon didn't really help the bill due to the prices the overall experience was good

   Our chef, Jose was wonderful. All food tender, nothing dry or crunchy. Very energetic and entertaining

   We had a very nice time. The young lady that served us in the bar was very attentive however, she was the only server in the bar. We took that into consideration and just enjoyed ourselves.

   Took over an hour to get drinks and for our order to the taken. Food was over salted like crazy and low quality. Not worth the money at all.

   It was terrible had a reservation at 7:00pm didn’t get seated til 8:30. On top of that we had to wait and additional hour just to get our food on the grill. The hostesses were extremely rude and unprofessional, they intentionally turned their backs on customers just to ignore us. Not once did they notify us of the current situation at hand, they gave us a dry one moment and made us wait and hour and a half. This is the type of treatment you receive when you don’t book as reservation. The poor chefs were extremely and inhumanly over worked that it lead to a poor quality of food. I’m not blaming the chefs because it’s out of their control. Our server was the hardest one working last night and I witnessed other staff members try to berate and belittle her but she was LITERALLY the only one actively working to the point she just needs be in charge of the place, no kidding. The poor girl was running around frantically just to tend to all her tables, but she did it with grace and fulfilled everyone’s needs. Overall this was the worst Benihana’s I’ve ever been to, either open another Memphis location or hired more professional staff members because the whole thing was unacceptable.

    Our group of 4ppl were seated at 6:35. We ordered our meals and drinks. It took an hour for the alcoholic drinks to come from the bar. We did receive our appetizers in a reasonable time. We sat and waited for so long for our hibachi chef. We asked a staff member to speak with the manager because we didn’t know what was going on. He came and addressed the table and said he was going to adjust everyone’s bill with a discount. Finally our chef, Chef C came at 8:30 (2 hours after being seated). Chef C was great! He clearly cared about his job and had a good attitude. He apologized for the wait. He did a good job with the food. Thankfully the food was worth the wait, but entirely too long of an experience.
