   Chef did pretty good. Servet was not the best. Asked to speak with Steve was told he would coming he never came. no Manager touch the table to ask if everything was fine. Spending over two hundred dollars.

   I asked the sever if I could get the lunch duet. She said its dinner menu only and it was 12pm. I heard the table next to me order lunch duet. So when the server came back I asked her about it to understand the confusion. We already got our food by the time she came back but she heard me the first time ! I didn’t mind paying but I could’ve got what I usually get and wanted over spending extra money to order my stuff separately or dinner menu prices ! So keep in mind you can always get the lunch menu items even if they give you a dinner menu during lunch hours.

   This has got to be the worst location and restaurant experience I’ve ever had!!!! We had a 8:00pm reservation and didn’t get seated till 8:30pm and we waited till 9:30pm for the chef to come and by the time we got out food it was past 10pm! The food itself was bland and over cooked! Wast of my hard earned $250.00 dollars for these two meals! This location needs to improve and I’ll be calling the restaurant to make sure I get reimbursed for this poor service on what was supposed to be a fun night out to celebrate the new year.

   Always a good time! Food was delicious, such a fun atmosphere! We were celebrating my birthday and it was just great! Our chef was so fun and everything was prepared perfectly.

   Very frustrating that they were only serving a “holiday menu” but there was no mention of that anywhere on the website. They also tried to squish an extra seat and seat our party of seven with a party of two that we didn’t know. Totally fine to seat us with people we don’t know up to the right spots actually at a table, but we wouldn’t have had room to move. We were told we could order off the regular menu, but our server couldn’t give us a regular me I so we’d have to look at it online. The whole experience felt very “cheap” for a meal that cost $460 for 7 of us. Not worth it.

   We have been coming to the SLP Benihana for over 30 years. In the last few years the prices have skyrocketed, the service is subpar, portions of food are smaller, service fees were added this last year and now fried rice doesn’t come with your $56 entree?? This is absurd. This will be our last time coming. We will take yum-yum sauce to go and make our own. So disappointed. We should have gone to Capital Grill or Mannys for lunch. The price would have been the same ($350/4ppl) but the food would have been stellar

   We go to Benihana about 1-2x a year, usually to use their birthday coupon, which is a great value. We were there between Xmas and New Years, so it was a fairly busy time of the year. We had a reservation for 7 pm, but did not get seated until nearly 7:30 pm. The restaurant was full when we got there, but was half empty by 8 pm. We got our drink and food orders in right away, but we did not see a chef to cook our food until 8:30 pm (a hour and a half after our reservation). Don't know if they were understaffed, but the whole team just looked haggard from the host to the chef. Everyone was polite and friendly, but the energy was super low. The meal was great, as it typically is, although I always question how my bill gets up to $200 for three people (with a $30 coupon) for a meal that is primarily, soup, salad and vegetables with what seems to be maybe 8-10 ounces of steak and shrimp (plus 2 drinks). Its not like this is a 4-star steakhouse. The restaurant also has seen better days and could use a refresh. We will go back, but it was a disappointing night.

   The steak was incredible at Benihana. We had a reservation at 7pm but weren’t seated until after 7:30pm, so that was disappointing. The chef was friendly and engaging and accommodating. Our server wasn’t as involved. Food was great as always and the experience was so fun.
