   Benihana is a consistent experience and the NYC location did not disappoint. The food and the chef were both great. The restaurant itself is starting to look a bit dated but beyond that if you want the classic hibachi experience Benihana still delivers.

   Bad food, tasteless, not good looking. Bad service - waiter always forgot our requests. My first anf last time there. This place killz hibachi reputation.

   Our first experience of Benihana in NY while we were on holiday from London - we enjoyed the experience- sat on a communal table with other guests. The chef was great fun and very entertaining, the food was delicious.
