   Chef was terrible. Over cooked the rice gave terrible portions and had the worst attitude. I had to go to the manager about the service we received. Went for my daughter birthday celebration (she’s loves Benihana) surprised her with a birthday lunch and had the worst experience. 2/10.

   Always enjoy Benihana. Servers and reception were excellent. Little too much butter on the fried rice but that was probably my fault for not paying attention. Other than that very good. Will be back.

   Reservation was for 7:45 but we weren’t seated until 8:50. The restaurant was obviously overbooked, but they took zero accountability for their actions and made no effort to show gratitude or appreciation for any of its customer’s patience.

   I had a 7pm table of 8 reservation for a birthday. Although the hostess said the table will not be ready until 7:45 pm. We did not get seated until 8:15 pm! The cooking did not begin until 8:45 pm. You could have called me and said your 7:00 reservation will now be 8:30 pm. That would be preferred instead of us waiting outside in the cold because there is no where to sit inside because everyone else’s reservations were an hour behind. Horrible experience!

   The waiter did not refill our drinks and we were crazy thirsty. We had to hunt him down. He said they gave him 3 tables instead of 2. Also my chicken was bone dry. The zucchini and onions now come pre cut in chunks. Our chef did not do a show like the other chefs we could see. Very disappointing

   I recently visited Benihana and had one of the most frustrating dining experiences ever. I booked a reservation for 8 PM, but my party wasn’t seated until after 9 PM. To make matters worse, once we were finally seated, our food didn’t start cooking until almost 45 minutes later. The delays were absolutely unacceptable, especially for a restaurant that requires reservations. The food was horrible—bland, poorly prepared, and far from what you’d expect for the price. The service was just as bad, with the staff showing little concern for the obvious delays and lack of attention. On top of that, customers were forced to pay gratuity regardless of the service quality. Gratuity should reflect the level of service, not be an automatic charge, especially when the service is this terrible. When I tried addressing these issues with the manager, they were extremely rude and unwilling to accommodate my party in any way. There was no apology or attempt to resolve the situation—they were defensive and unprofessional throughout. If you’re considering dining at Benihana, I strongly advise against it. Poor food, unreasonably long waits, terrible service, and unhelpful management make this place a waste of time and money.
