   I think they are understaffed. Our reservation was for 9 pm on a Sunday. We got seated around 9:35 and it wasn’t busy at all. We didn’t get drinks for another 30 min. And didn’t start getting any food (soup, salad, etc) until almost 10:30. The cook was nice, but seemed a little tired, possibly overworked. One person in our party never got the white rice she ordered. The food was good though, once we got it. People go to the hibachi restaurants not only for the food, but for the experience. And our experience was long and a bit boring.

   We had an 11 mile month old baby, who was more well Behaved then the staff and adults in the restaurant, and a party of 8, and were made to wait 45 mins after our reservation to be seated. Once finally seated all I can say to describe the entire experience is “absolute chaos in hell” We weren’t out the door until after 11pm once we finally received all the food we ordered and payed the bill. Management of Reservations at this restaurant can politely be described as Poor at best.

   This is our third time dining at Benihana, located at The Hilton in Lake Buena Vista. Service was great, food was hot and tasty right off the grill and we had fun there as always watching our food being prepared. Highly recommend this location to anyone.

   They only seat us within 2 hours after the time that we booked. We spend 4 hours there. Everyone was complaining.

   We came in for the first time as we walked by and it smelt good - sadly the only thing that was good about it. When we came in the team at the front were nice. Explained the seating and we chose to sit in the lounge which was super loud and looked sad the way the tables were. The service was awful. There was lack of organization, people with food but no cutlery, food and no sauces. The girl was rushing and not paying any attention to one soul aspect, if she had slowed down she would have been ok. That and the guy behind the bar if he had stopped texting and helped her that would have made a difference to her and the guests. People like us waiting 15 mins or so to have an order taken, lack of communication/attention. Stop telling g people you’re busy, slow down and make it happen for everyone and get the lazy guy involved. The hot food looked and tasted good - so not worth $48 for plain noodles and some bits of steak with veg. Cold and over cooked prawns on the plate - why? After finishing what we had, we were so disappointed I thought the check was a joke $97.45 for what we had. About 30/45 mins after eating I became sick and spent a great deal of time in the bathroom. My wife did also during the night. We both shared my food which was the chicken and had not eaten anything before or after. Rest assured we will be telling everyone to stay away from this location and the brand if this is the experience. Do better!

   Service and waiter was great. Soup was delicious and hot. Shrimp dinners with vegetables were lukewarm and probably pre-made. We ate in the bar area so that may account for our meals.  Atmosphere was very nice. We were guest at the Hilton so it was convenient to have dinner there.

   Food was good however they squeezed 3 adults on the end of the table which was very uncomfortable. Have eaten at this location before and was a little disappointed. We had seven pm reservations and we were not seated until 7:40 then it was another 45 minutes until our cook got to the table. Probably will not be back at least at this location. Very disappointing especially since they really were not very busy. They had several tables that weren’t being used. I believe it was due to a lack of cooks because I noticed other tables had to wait a long time also and it was for the same two people that I saw cooking, I only saw two cooks. If it wasn’t a lack of cooks it was poor scheduling on management part disappointing experience since we were there for a birthday celebration.

    Very pricey for quality of food. Chef was ok, mildly entertaining. Was like he was just bored being there. No engagement at all. Server took well over 15 minutes to bring a beer we ordered and that was after everyone else received their drinks.
