   Don’t bother making reservations, the front reception just puts your name in line when you get there. We had reservations at 6 for 4 people and we didn’t get seated until 7pm We made the reservation a month before I know they get busy but they should close the reservation spot when it’s full, instead of overbooking everyone.

   Our chef and waitstaff were fantastic. The food was delicious. The meal was a little expensive.

   Good was good. Service was great. Had a 5:00 pm reservation but got seated at 5:30 pm. Also saw many people waiting 30-45 minutes even with reservations. Felt rushed even when we were still eating at the end but understood as they were busy. Also heard people talking about them being double booked and it happened to numerous people. They seem to be money hungry and get as many reservations as possible even if it includes waiting an hour even with a reservation. Overall 6/10.

   For the price you pay you should get more food.. Me and my family paid over 300 and they was hungry an hour later.. food has no taste no seasoning no sauce nothing. I’ll stay at new star in elmwood pk they worth every penny.

   Food was great and so was our waitress! The person who cooked our food was entertaining and kept us engaged while he was cooking.

   We made reservations for 7p on Christmas Eve. We expected it to be crowded but they weren’t prepared. We were finally seated 40 minutes after our reservation time. To cover their mistake, they sat 10 to a table. Our family was smashed with my husband seated at a corner. There was no leg space. We could barely list our arms to eat. Once seated, it took another 30 minutes for the wait staff to take our order. She was really kind but overwhelmed and unable to keep up. We had dishes piled in front of us because there was no room. It’s not inexpensive to eat here so was extremely disappointed there was no acknowledgement of the inconvenience. There was staff standing around — one appeared to be a manager — and never stepped in to refill drinks or clear plates. It wasn’t our first time at this location so we had higher expectations. We may go back only because our kids enjoy the experience but definitely not around a holiday as they just couldn’t handle it.

   Our server Noi is the best, we were celebrating Christmas Eve & a Birthday & she made our evening so special. We always come back to visit Noi!

    Another outstanding meal at Benihana. We have been having a family celebration there for over 22 years. Our Chef, Abram, this year was great. Entertaining, engaging, and a top notch cook.
