   Our reservations was for 6:30. We arrived at 6:25… We did not get seated until 7:30… The wait was unreal… They were short staffed and accepted too many reservations…

   Had a 4:30 reservation on Christmas, upon arriving was told the wait was an hour, even with a reservation. The wait ended up being 35 minutes so not as bad as we were told at first, though it took a while for the chef to arrive, total time in the restaurant was 2 hours. While waiting I heard some people say they walked in, did not make a reservation and the wait was the same for them. Manager needs to be trained or fired, reservations should take precidence over walk-ins and when they backed up a call or text would be helpful to people who made specific reservations. Our chef was very entertaining, upbeat and personable. The chicken was dry and the beef was very well prepared. My wife and stepson had sushi and said it was average at best. But you know at Benihana you are going for the show more than the food. Apart from the hostesses, everyone else there was very nice and accomodating. again, they need to train or fire the manager as he is the one responsible for the back up and not dealing with customers, and more training for the hostesses would be good also, they seemed to be a better fit for a job at the MVD, not a restaurant where you have to actually serve customers.

   We had a reservation for 4:00 PM; however, when we arrived, we were informed that there would be at least a one-hour delay, which ended up being one hour and fifteen minutes. The restaurant was overwhelmed, not sure what happened, and we couldn't even get a drink at the bar. What a joke.

   Host's worked hard, did an excellent job at keeping us informed as to when we could expect to be seated. Raquel (Rocky) was very personable, worked hard, and kept our drinks refilled. Tony was also very personable, worked hard, and made us all laugh. We had an excellent experience.

   We had 3pm reservation and were told they were running behind an hour. Never had such an experience in my life. Horrible experience especially on Christmas. We left as we had a reservation at another event which we would not have able to attend with the 1 hour delay. Horrible planning on the restaurants part. Maybe time to get new leadership.

   We had to wait an hour and a half past our reservation time to get a table kind of ruined the whole evening. It was Christmas. I understand it’s busy but they really should not overbooked themselves.

   Reservations for 2:30. Waited an hour. Asked hostess why they completely overbooked for a holiday and why they wanted everyone to waste their time waiting. She got snotty and said “because it’s Christmas.” Yeah, great Christmas for us. It was when we left and went to IHOP. Screw Benihana

   Now, it was Xmas Eve, so you can understand being slow, which it was, and we were seated over 30 mins after our reservation time. The place was filthy with straw wrappers everywhere on the floor and over flowing trash cans in the bathrooms. Reminded me of a frat house after a party. Everything else was just okay. Went with kids that wanted to go, but my wife and I vowed never to go again, especially at this one.

    Waited an hour after our reservation to be sat. Then waited another 15 min for water. Then waited another hour for a chef to get to our table. No compensation, food was greasy and overpriced. Will not return.
