First time at Native Tongues while visiting Calgary. We’ve eaten a lot of Mexican food inside and outside Mexico and wow is this place good! The Papas Norteñas which is delicious but extremely filling. I recommend sharing a bunch of dishes family style your group to try a bit of everything. We would definitely return.

Was thinking about Ari for a bit, so I dropped in for a treat meal. Restaurant was as remembered, but the pomp and flash of the presentation has all but diminished since last time. Still really great sushi, and as fresh as one would like, but the presentation was clinical. Previous dining experience had daikon shreds and greenery artfully displayed around the sashimi or tempura. This time was just nice pottery trays with the individual portions… Not a show stopper, but the presentation was much better last time. Id like to see that come back. Separated Ari from the others I’ve been to. Service and pricing is as expected in a finer restaurant Was a nice outing but will put off coming back for a while and try others out in the mean time.
