BBQ & Lobstershack. We're a local institution, with an international following, this powerhouse of a restaurant is set over 2 huge floors in Covent Garden boasting a 9m wow factor bar on the ground floor & a more intimate speak-easy style shelter bar on the lower deck.

We proudly offer a large slice of easy going living, inspired by the Gulf Coast, with live bands 7 nights week, a friendly welcoming atmosphere, fresh cocktails, ice cold beers and generous portions of
good old home-style cooking offering Home-Smoked BBQ & Fresh East Coast Lobsters.

Fast forward to today and we continue to uphold those time-honoured traditions; social occasions of the bygone age, friends getting together over great fresh food, plentiful drinks and music - these never go out of fashion.

Was extremely busy had a booking but still had to wait over 20 minutes to be seated. Once seated we was left for over 30 minutes and had to call someone over to take our order. Food was ok kids meal came cold banana milkshake tasted off.

Apart from the fact that it was slow to be seated depute having a reservation and service was slow to take orders it was a good experience.

I booked this for my teams Christmas meal. Despite booking the table in early October, we ended up having to stand for 30 minutes to wait for our table while two people were only starting their drinks on the table with our booking. Servers were unapologetic and rude. We ended up sitting in a table which was stuck in the middle of the restaurant crammed up against the bar which we had to regularly move out of our seats to allow people to walk by. Such a shame as I previously enjoyed coming to this chain of restaurants but this experience really put me off .

This was not a bottom less brunch. You had to get the attention of a server to top up fod and drink. Staff were unfriendly and at one point I had a server shout at me for calling him over. Another server went for a break towards the end of our sitting and did not bother to bring us our last round of drinks before she left Food was luke warm and tiny portions. Will never go to the Big Easy again and do not recomend.

Anson and his team were brilliant, booked our table online for 8pm but got there early. Wasn’t able to get a table but we were still able to get seats close to the bar had a meal and simply a lovely evening out with family. Totally recommend The Big Easy Covent Garden👏🏽. Well done.
