   BIS is so solid. We love Bobby Moore and his team... they take such good care of the food and everyone that enters his doors, he's truly a gracious chef!!

   Great service but stew head and risotto were over cooked. Ahi salad was great though

   We arrived to celebrate a 30th birthday, and were immediately welcomed by the Chef/Owner! From that point on, the service was amazing. We ordered drinks and several appetizers. Later soup and salads, and then on to dinner. Everything was amazing, delicious and beautifully presented. The Chef even returned to check on us, and wish Happy Birthday to our birthday girl. :) With deserts, coffee & teas afterwards, our evening was a great experience with great food. Definitely recommend and will return!

   We appreciate Bis on Main being open on a Monday as not many restaurants are. Our experience with the food and cocktails were that they were very average. We ordered a wide sampling off the menu from the cod, to the ribeye special, to the filet. Appetizers included the garlic prawns and crab cakes - everything tasted bland and did not seem like quality, locally sourced ingredients. I had to send the margarita back as it wasn’t drinkable and at $25 a cocktail that’s just not acceptable. The service however was warm and friendly

   Service was great. Wonderful wine selection. More than one vegetarian option and some new items on the menu. Worth trying again if you haven’t been there for awhile.

   Really nice experience for brunch. Service was attentive, the food was really well prepared with a lot of attention to detail and a nice varied classic menu. Will definitely go back!

   Waiter was told my fiancé was allergic to oysters. Came back 10 minutes later and said our special is oysters. I reminded him I had just told him she was allergic to oysters. Deer in headlights response. We ordered the baked chicken. I have had it maybe 50 times and it’s always so hot you have to let it cool down. Ours was luke warm. Bis did not seem that busy, so maybe the waiter left is sitting. Not sure. We ate it cause we had to get home for the house sitter. But overall a disappointing evening and not up to the usual Bis standards.

    I absolutely love the food here! The chef is incredibly talented, and every meal—whether lunch or dinner—has been consistently excellent. The service is generally very good, but unfortunately, the restaurant is not very kid-friendly. They don’t provide high chairs or a diaper-changing station, which can make dining with a baby challenging. Tonight, our server, Miguel, was fantastic and did his best to make up for a slow start. No one came to take our order for the first 15 minutes, and we were about to leave when he stepped in. Thankfully, the food was worth the wait. It seemed like we were seated in a more isolated room because we had a baby, which might explain the delay in service. While I understand the need for a calm dining atmosphere, I hope the restaurant considers making a few changes to be more accommodating for families with young children.
