   My grandson and I had a great dinner on Saturday night. We had a reservation for 6:30 pm and we were seated after a short wait. Boy, did it get busy after that! It seems like Saturday night had a number of couples celebrating Valentine’s Day a day late. Great food, great service (in a very busy restaurant), a good live band and good vibes all night long.

   Overpriced for mediocre food. Restaurant was at less than 25% capacity and we had waited 20 minutes before getting our drink order taken.

   Booked a reservation for 9 pm on Valentines day. Arrived at 8:15 and was told to expect to be seated around 9 as expected. Tried to get a drink at the bar but were ignored by staff for over an hour even after finding seating at the bar. Did not get seated at a table until 10:40 approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes after our reservation and were told some items on the fixed menu were no longer available. Overall very poor experience and service. Will not be returning nor recommending to others.

   I made a reservation for two at 9:00pm. The restaurant grossly overbooked and those with 7:30 reservations were just getting seated at 9:20. We found one seat at the bar and ended up eating there. The meal was not worth the $130 per person they charged.

   I know, it’s Valentine’s Day. But making people with reservations wait 45 minutes to be seated is bordering on abusive. I made a bit of a stink and got seated within 15 but there must have been 50 guest standing around waiting for their tables to finally be available. What was as shocking were the number of tables available while this was going on. Total CF and front desk acting like there’s no problem. Haven’t seen anything like this before. Don’t over sell the place. Empty tables are seated. If you can’t handle your guest list, don’t offer a Valentines Prix fixe.

   Food was delicious. But def overbooked for Valentine’s Day. Saw some people waiting an hour for their reservation, took 45 min to be sat after my reservation and we were put in a back room with barely any ambience while there was a jazz band in the main area of the restaurant. Staff was super busy, but nice. Complementary valet was a nice touch.

   We have been to Bistango many times over the years, and we typically have a nice time there. However, when we were there for Valentine’s Day, 2025, they were overbooked and the kitchen was really slow. We had to stand in line to get to the hostess station, and once we checked in, we were standing in the lobby with about 50 other people waiting to be seated. Some said they were waiting for over an hour. I went up to the bar and a lovely bartender gave us two drinks, and I found a lone seat at the end of the bar. We were enjoying the music while we waited. After some time, I stopped to hostess and asked when we were going to be seated. She finally sat us almost an hour late. Then it took about 20 minutes to get our first course and 45 minutes after that to get our second course. Apart from the vegetables, being a little cold, the steak was really good, and the dessert was good. The staff were really stressed. I don’t know what went wrong behind the scenes that night, but they definitely did not do well on a busy holiday. I will probably go back there in the future though.

    Rude service. Table was not set for 4 people. After they sat us they brought the extra set of utensils and just dropped it on the table. With out setting it up nicely. Sat for 40 minutes at table before being asked what we want to drink. Very slow service. We had guest from New York and this was very embarrassing
