Bistro Don Giovanni offers a warm and inviting experience with all the personality of a Mediterranean hideaway. Chef Scott Warner's rustic fare incorporates local fruits, vegetables, meat and fowl into traditional, fresh Italian dishes with her signature, creative flair. Freshly baked breads, local olive oil, beautiful salads, tasty appetizers and homemade pastas are inspired by the bounty of Napa Valley. Main courses offer an array of regionally sourced and highest quality creations of chicken, steaks and seafood. The bar features hundreds of Napa Valley and Italian wines as well as a host of signature cocktails.

    We had a great dining experience. We come as often as possible. Lunch is wonderful. Food is always fabulous no matter what you order. Winter is inside but warm weather, dining outside is wonderful.

    The food is uniquely delicious, especially the focaccia and madilli pasta. All the wait staff are excellent: pleasant, friendly and attentive. Also love the decor and art too.

    Use to visit this restaurant years ago. Just Lots to chose from in the valley. My college friend wanted to go as she heard so much about it.i made our reservation for 2, months ago. 1) way too crowded, looked like they squeezed in tables. As a result, couldn’t hear ourselves talk ( and we have great hearing, unfortunately). 2) thought the menu was a bit odd, not a lot of classic dishes and other than 1/2 chicken, no chicken options 3) Roberto our waiter never told us any of the specials in any category. Had to ask. He finally told us but never expound on them. Had to wait and ask for a glass of ice multiple times as well as my Chardonnay to be enjoyed with dinner. Plus, very difficult to understand. 4) my Don Manhattan was excellent although I was charged extra for it to be served up, w/o notice. Frito misto was oustanding, a huge portion for 2. My friends risotto, awesome….. as was my ravioli in a lemon cream sauce. Too full to have dessert. All in all, good food did not outweigh the service, noise and ambience. Won’t be back and won’t recommend. So many better choices.

    We found the hostess to be not very friendly, as was the wait staff that brought the water. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful.(Things we’re looking up!). The food was good but a little bit on the high side. I would definitely come back to the restaurant again to try some of the other dishes.
