Bistro Don Giovanni offers a warm and inviting experience with all the personality of a Mediterranean hideaway. Chef Scott Warner's rustic fare incorporates local fruits, vegetables, meat and fowl into traditional, fresh Italian dishes with her signature, creative flair. Freshly baked breads, local olive oil, beautiful salads, tasty appetizers and homemade pastas are inspired by the bounty of Napa Valley. Main courses offer an array of regionally sourced and highest quality creations of chicken, steaks and seafood. The bar features hundreds of Napa Valley and Italian wines as well as a host of signature cocktails.

    We are always pleased with food and drinks at the establishment. The service is also spectacular. It’s especially nights when you can sit outside at the fountain. Definitely a bit noisy inside.

    I write this with a heavy heart. My wife and I have been coming to this restaurant even before it was Don Giovanni—namely, Table 29. We never had a bad meal. Some were better than others but never like on Feb 14. We started by sharing a Caesar. The salad was good. My wife had the Gnocchi. It looked like it had just been thrown onto the plate. The ragu was ok but barely warm and the gnocchi was dense and gummy. My Branzino was butterflied. overcooked, full of bones, smothered with a lousy beurre blanc and capers that tasted like they had just been taken out of the jar. My potatoes were stale, over-roasted, and cold. The plate was further decorated with a bunch of frisee that had not been dressed. I had to add olive oil and salt from the table. The dessert, a tiramisu, was excellent. My double espresso was cold and came with a large spoon instead of a demi-tasse one. The food runner delivered our food to the wrong table and had to pick it back up to find our table and then had no idea who had what. We had Pellegrino and the bottle was in sight on the table but the busser started pouring regular water into our glasses. It looked like the tables had been rearranged to accommodate the crowd and we practically shared the space with our neighbors. Much overpriced.

    Wonderful! The food was great as usual. We did miss the focaccia bread that is usually brought out though. Instead it was substituted with another sliced bread which wasn't nearly as good as the focaccia. Still had a wonderful lunch!

    The food is excellent and fresh. The staff is very warm, efficient and nice. The atmosphere was filled with smiling friends, family, dates, neighbors, enjoying good food and a nice atmosphere.
